Quality assurance includes activities to meet standards through a proactive approach where everyone is responsible. It is done through monitoring and audits, not just inspections and testing, to do things right. Quality control is part of quality management that reviews all production factors to fulfill requirements through inspections and measuring physical characteristics before delivery to customers. It is still needed along with planning to confirm specifications and catch issues for correction.

6. MAJOR TOOL FOR MEASURING QC
• Inspection
• Do you think that if planning is in, inspection can be out..??
• For me “NO”,
• products must be inspected at the end to confirm specs
• Before delivering to the customers
• In-process inspection may reveal deficiencies that can be
corrected before they cause costly scrap and rework.
• Inspections may include several kinds of activities, such as:
• Measuring physical characteristics of products
• Examining products for completeness or correct assembly
• Testing products for performance
