This document provides population and economic data for Taiwan from 1975 to 2010. It shows that Taiwan's population grew from around 22,000 in 1975 to over 78,000 in 2009, while its GDP increased from around 63,000 in 1975 to over 71,000 in 2009. The data also indicates that Taiwan's population growth has slowed in recent decades, while its GDP per capita peaked in the 1990s and has declined slightly since.
