New Total Compensation Template/Plan
• In Q4 release, two new Total Compensation features providing improvements to adding and uploading Total Compensation templates and
plans have been announced. Now it is possible to upload Total Compensation templates from the Admin Center > Compensation Home >
Add new total compensation plan page. In addition, a new option - Add a New Total Compensation Plan - has been added to the dropdown
menu: Actions - All Plans. (Universal)
Custom Validation in Total Compensation Template
• Administrators can now apply custom validation formulas to Total Compensation form fields. This functionality was introduced to
Compensation form fields in the last release. In addition, when the system registers multiple validation failures, it displays a display box
listing them all in a single message box. For a list of Warnings only, you can opt to proceed without taking further action. If there is one or
more Errors in the list, the errors must be corrected before the system will proceed.

Data purge for Incomplete Forms
• When you configure a master data purge with Data Retention Time Management (DRTM), you can now choose to include or exclude
employees who belong to incomplete compensation or variable pay forms. By default, the system excludes users from a purge when they

Employee deletion
• Now you can delete employees from completed worksheets as well as from incomplete worksheets. The Compensation Worksheets
dropdown menu under Update Worksheets section of Manage Worksheets displays all worksheets and highlights completed worksheets

• The target population for Compensation Plan Audit Activity has been restricted by means of Role-Based Permissions (RBPs). (Universal)

Localization of Categories and Levels
• As of Q4 release, administrators can localize categories and levels to different languages, so users see the labels and descriptions for
categories and levels on the basis of their locale. It is required to define new categories and levels in the system default language before
localizing to other languages. (Universal)
Point-based Programs
• Administrators can now enable points-based programs from the Rewards and Recognition Settings tab. Moreover, the additional Reward
and Recognition APIs are now available: UserRewardInfo and SpotAwardRedemption. These APIs can be used by customers and partners
to build extensions to allow employees to redeem awards in different ways.(Admin Opt-in)
Employee Nomination Action Search
• With this release, users can access the employee nomination page through search of the default keywords such as Send Spot Award, Give
Spot Award, Recognize, Reward in the Action Search bar. (Universal)
Custom images for categories and levels
• It is now possible to link custom images to categories and levels. These images must be smaller than 3 megabytes and uploaded in an
aspect ratio of 1:1 to avoid image distortion. The recommended size for images is 90 by 90 pixels. (Universal)
Redeem
• Now, employees can redeem their flex reward points using 'Redeem' on the Reward and Recognition home page, based on their role-based
permissions. And, admin with the Redemption Option permissions can create multiple reward redemption options for employees with the
