Ara has made an incredible impact in the Software
Delivery team and IT Department since the
beginning of DevOps transformation for our
Technology systems. During this time, we have
been able to increase release capacity by more than
100% Year over Year. It is no exaggeration to say
that her contributions towards Data Analytics have
enabled all of Technology to function faster, enabling
feedback loops, feeling confident in our strategies. It
has been a phenomenal change from the anecdotal
past.
Beyond her analytical and problem-solving skills, Ara
has shown exceptional strength of character
amongst all the challenges that 2020-2021 has
presented. Her positivity and flexibility have helped
the team through high-stress situations, keeping
calm under pressure while taking a solutions-
oriented approach. She amazes us with the level of
caring and commitment she shows towards IT. In a
show of prominent leadership, she has mentored
her team to stretch their talent, finding ways to
bypass roadblocks and overcome challenges,
running the show while fully remote, continuing to
motivate and encourage quality output.
You are a ROCK STAR in our book!

Busola is the pure definition of superstar, the team
player that shines by her own talents with the support
from all the team around her to make that success
possible. Her constant attention to details, outside of
the box thinker, quick learning and most of all, resilience
to adapt to different scenarios while maintaining her
empathy towards others, makes her a true team player.
She works smart to expand her pipeline, having moved
64 loads with a UPS customer that has now become an
active customer for Coyote with steady LTL business.
Busola has managed to onboard 11 new customers and
revived 12 customers that have stopped working with
Coyote, moving a total of 230+ loads. Busola also
managed to reactivate a customer resulting in a project
in September, and the highest margin (17k) percentage
of her team and one of the highest of the sales team.
One of the things I admire the most about her is her
kind heart, her voluntary work during weekends, her
calmness approach when dealing with problems and her
team mindset.
Busola is constantly willing to improve and grow her
accounts, her knowledge to different areas, her skills
and her relationships with internal and external
stakeholders. It is people like Busola that keep Coyote
moving forward and it is undoubtfully our most
competitive advantage.

Cam is one of our best carrier sales reps now and
from what I see out of him he will become a very
successful and valuable employee in the long run as
well. He is trending up in all aspects of his career.
He is still young but has future management
potential in the next few years.
Cam smashed his level 1 numbers for the last 6
months and has earned the right to level up on
schedule and is doing the right things to already look
forward to level 3.
Cam is always taking care of his carriers and looking
for new business in any way he can find it. He is first
in the office to call carriers before anyone else and
gets his name on the early crew books daily.
Cam participates however he can to any Coyote
outside activities that include St Jude golf outing.
Cam always volunteers for extra weekend and
Holiday shifts when the floor needs help , he is the
one that responds first.

Corey has spearheaded our UPS Process Improvement
team for the past year. When formed, the only direction
for this group was to maintain business with UPS and
our relationship to carriers. Since forming this group
Corey produces weekly scorecards for our top 15
carriers, holds bi-weekly zooms with the carriers to
provide feedback and encouragement. Corey has
created reporting around adhoc data to arm our capacity
team with rates and suggestions on how to grow our
adhoc acceptance and gross margins, supplying upper
management with trackers for similar information.
Corey has been challenged to make all his reports
actionable for our teams that lead to positive change,
not just reporting for the sake of it. This is where Corey
has become and deserves a Q3 MVP. In Q3 of 2020 our
group hit a service score of 99.41%, only 63 loads in Q3
did not hit their service delivery mark in one of the most
challenging quarters we have seen in transportation.
What makes this incredible is that these shipments are
just in time, with no 'wiggle room' to deliver late. Q1
service was 99.05, Q2 service was 99.32 and again Q3
at 99.41. Corey's relentless approach to driver KPI
improvement in 2021 is paying dividends. In addition to
driving service scores, our group in Q3 achieved 166%
of our margin plan. Much like service, QoQ with Corey's
reporting we have grown from 136%, 154% and now
166% of plan. There is no one more deserving of
representing Coyote for a Q3 MVP than Corey.

O55 would have not been successful without Gabby in
Q3. Her ability to adapt to any changes thrown her is
unparalleled. O55 moved departments, had 11
personnel changes, and onboarded/offboarded 4
accounts. This resulted in Gabby having to learn multiple
accounts quickly to teach the new reps how to
successfully operate them. Gabby helped create a daily
shared sheet that gives the team visibility to what has
been completed and it is an easy way to see where
work can be delegated.
Gabby gives 110% everyday while having a positive
attitude. She lends a hand to the team operationally
while also handling daily and weekly reporting including
โ€˜missing accessorialsโ€™ to ensure no money is left on the
table. O55 finished over 150% attainment in Q3 despite
the constant change in personnel. Gabby has biweekly
touchpoints with each rep on the team to ensure they
feel supported. Gabby is a positive light on the team
anyone can rely on, having with fun activities at the
beginning of each team meeting to get to know each
other and created excel competitions for the team to
help with their development!
Externally, Gabby leads most touchpoints with our
internal sales reps and has great relationships with
them. As the first escalation point for each customer
and rarely needs assistance. Gabby never misses a
deadline, 90% of the time items are done early.

It shocks me every time I remember Gibson has
been here under a year.
When we are faced with a mountain of flags or send
out emails with critical freight his name always pops
up on my email feed replying all with coverage. Just
the other week we had bounties on critical freight.
He reached out to me asking permission to leave
early because he had some sort of appointment that
was pushed back. I jokingly replied, โ€œIf you cover 3
flags you wonโ€™t have to ask permission you will get
to leave early because of the bounties.โ€ Fast
forward about 25 minutes and I see Gibsonโ€™s name
pop up on my email feed replying all with 3 of the
bountied loads he just booked.
The amount of critical freight he covers is truly
shocking. His work ethic is untouched by anyone on
the carrier floor. I cannot think of any carrier rep that
is more deserving of MVP than Gibson.

Since Guillermo joined the floor as carrier sales rep
he has stood out for his good work.
In just a few months he has positioned himself as a
Sr. rep, his numbers speaks for themselves and he
is definitely crushing it in the conference, he ended
the Q3 with 777 books and he has been carrier rep
only for 4 months! I think this is something great and
worth appreciating.
Not only in the numbers, Guillermo is undoubtedly a
fundamental piece of our team, he always has a
good attitude and is willing to help the team and his
teammates, always looking for the common good
and always contributing ideas to improve. Everyone
is happy to have Guillermo in the Mexico team!

Jimmy is always looking for creative ways to make the
Automation Support role more efficient. Once he
receives a similar ticket he instantly begins
brainstorming how he can either empower users or
prevent the issue from reoccurring. He also experiments
on how to solve issues by building apps to automate the
handling of issues; he has built apps to monitor critical
executions that will retrigger apps if there is a failure,
pick up files to process or reprocess and mass progress
loads to name a few.
Jimmy always strives to provide the best customer
service to Coyotes and our Partners. Coordinating issues
with internal and external partners to solve issues that
arise. Coyotes have nothing but the best to say about
Jimmy:
"Always a pleasure working with James! our issues are
resolved swiftly!" -Operations Rep
"Just wanted to let you know how much James has
been an asset to LTL, especially as of recent. Over the
years Iโ€™ve had the opportunity to work with James in a
number of capacities. You can really tell how far along
heโ€™s come in the Automations realm. Iโ€™d also like to give
him credit for being realistic about Automations
resources and the timelines/ETAs for new requests. I
could go on with more compliments that have assisted
with the LTL departmentโ€™s initiatives, but I think you get
the point. " - LTL Operations Rep

When I think about this rep, I realized what a true
Champion of Change he is. He thrives on many skills
that are needed to take our business always forward.
Logistics never stops and neither does he. If you ever
need help during office hours and outside, heโ€™ll be there
to help, assist or point you out in the right direction.
Since day one, he went above and beyond asking for
approval to provide his management team with MoM
reporting on his accounts. On the ops side, service is a
subjective component & numbers are important to show
the reality of your workload, so he made sure to include:
how well his accounts performed, how much money we
were making, and WoW performance that allowed us to
create new and better strategies on his accounts.
Taking advantage of his personal skills, he has worked
on building internal & external relationships that allowed
him to provide the best possible service experience
every day. We had a new rep join the team during Q3
and he took the lead on mentoring him and made sure
our new pup felt welcomed to the team and relayed all
his knowledge, experience, expertise and pro tips to set
him up for success.
He has never shared an excuse to not execute on extra
project or the toughest ones. This rep just completed
the first year working within the department and
everyone can tell how talented and a true Coyote he is.

I truly believe Josh comes in everyday looking to learn
and get better. Not only is Josh always looking for ways
to do his job better, but he is sure to share knowledge
and tips to ensure everyone around him gets better as
well. Josh is a level 2 carrier rep and easily exceeds the
required metrics. In Q3 Josh averaged 33.15
uniques/day, 12.91 offers/day, and 12.91 books/day. His
load progression for Q3 was 48.44%. Just this week he
set up his first TMS lane and plans to keep building that
part of his business to graduate to level 3.
Josh Is a wonderful team player, he recently shared
with the team one of the ways he finds & develops new
carriers through Carrier411. In addition to being a great
teammate, he is also eager to help any new rep that
joins the Atlanta carrier floor. Another ATL ESL reached
out to me last month to give him a shout out stating
โ€œJosh has been really helpful checking on my new rep
asking her how she is doing, and if there is anything else
she needs help with. I know it means a lot to her.โ€
Josh is a very personable person and builds strong,
valuable relationships with all his carriers that carry
beyond freight. In late August Lynn Hemmert, an owner-
operator for Hummert Haulingโ€™s house burned down
while he was running a flagged spotlight load for us.
Lynn still made sure the load was moved without a hitch
and Josh promptly reached out to me once he heard the
news to see if we could raise funds to help Lynn.

Josh has set a PR almost every month this past year
in volume and gross margin, capping off the end of
Q3 with his highest GM and volume to date. He's
doubled (and nearing tripling) his book of business
YoY, and shows no signs of slowing down.
Consistently operating over 200+ loads each month,
on his own, Josh still brings in repeated organic
business and focuses on multi-mode diversification.
As busy as Josh is with his book of business, he still
offers mentorship to his team providing great insight
in the details. Taking the few extra minutes to show
vs. just telling is a testament to his leadership.
At the end of the day, how Josh performs and
continues to push the envelope is the definition of a
"No Excuses-Mentality." With operating that much
volume on his own, working weekends and
countless late nights, I RARELY hear a negative
comment or complaint. The best part is that I receive
countless positive feedback from his customers and
co-workers even in the complex situations that no
one likes to deal with.
Simply put, Josh gets the job done. No excuses.

Josie has been an ops rep on the Dairy Farmers of

solidified herself as a top performer on the team.
She is constantly praised for her efforts by CTM
Leadership as well as DFA. Josie has received 4
different individual call outs from the Director of
Transportation and head of Customer Service during
Q3 alone. Josie single handedly managed 4 different
projects for DFA during Q3 from start to finish, going
above and beyond her job duties to ensure DFA was
fully pleased with the outcome.

Laura has adapted well to the segmentation in sales.
During the transition Laura lost quite a bit of
accounts with little recouped. Despite this adversity
she built her remaining customers and continued to
bring in new opportunities. Laura has also
participated in several focus groups including the
seller councils representing the MM all while
maintaining her business.
While the last year was difficult to meet face-to-face,
Laura made it count virtually. Specifically, in the 3rd
quarter she had her best months ever consecutively
in August and September hitting $290,251.58 in GM
and 935 VOL in September.
Laura continually has one of the best relationships
with our operators, taking time to educate them on
her accounts and offers to help when the workload
may seem overwhelming. Laura also spends a lot of
time working with a few other Coyotes in our office
to help organize a charity golf tournament that helps
our community, raising around $24,000.
Laura is committed to the mission of Coyote and the
customers she serves. She does right by internal &
external stakeholders and is the definition of a model
Coyote. I am proud to have her as a part of our team.

Matt Felde is the epitome of what a Carrier Rep should
be at Coyote. He has been signing on an hour early and
skipping on Saturday flexes since I was assigned as his
manager in July. In Q3, he booked 968 loads, averaging
almost 51 uniques and 7 same days! Matt also booked a
combined 43 new and revived carriers; that is more than
some reps book in a year. I have the utmost confidence
that if Matt is working, he will put 100% effort into his
day. While he is currently remote, he continues to stay
involved in team conversation and day to day to updates
with myself.
Matt holds great relationships within the company. He
is very personable and has made an impression
company wide:
โ€œMatt knows how this works. He definitely grinds. I like
seeing his offers on my freight because I trust him and
his carriers.โ€ -Peter Casinova, MPS Customer Rep
โ€œFelde has a work hard, play hard mentality, which has
made him one of the top tier Denver reps!โ€ -Armand
Rodriguez, Chicago ESL
โ€œFelde is one of the good ones. I know when he says he
will do something, it is going to get done. He is a good

Max continually brings new ideas to the table on
how we as a team can handle many of the issues
we see daily. From CI projects to suggestions on
how our team can divide up the work, Max always
brings new ideas and perspectives to our team.
Maxwell crushed all team metrics, going above and
beyond in tendering tracking and scheduling. He
leads the team across the board in all categories and
attacks his responsibilities every day. Max continues
to work hard at each assigned task and knock it out
of the park.
Max handles one of the most difficult facilities in our
network with customer contacts who are not huge
fans of Coyote. He continues to calmly handle and
impress these planners and build our business out of
their facility. He also looks after one of the largest
facilities, succeeding in both quality and quantity for
some of the most important shippers in our network.
Maxwell acts as a reference for our newer reps. He
shows the effort needed day in and day out all the

Melissa is one of the most loyal, dedicated, and
hardworking employees. She is punctual and
efficient while being adaptable to a fluid
environment. She is constantly suggesting new and
innovative ways to increase our teamโ€™s productivity
and streamline processes. As much as she as on her
plate, she never shies away from assisting where
she can and quality is never sacrificed.
Melissa works hard to ensure that not only are met
but exceeded on a daily/monthly/yearly basis. For
example, one metric is meeting the goal of $60K in
cost avoidance per year to save Coyote money, but
Melissa easily surpasses that amount by reaching
$150-$250K.
Melissa has taken strides to ensure that the
relationships that were developed prior to our
remote work environment remain intact. For external
contacts, Melissa provides stellar customer service,
and implements conflict resolution tactics to escalate
difficult situations. She stepped up to take point in
the training and onboarding of four new reps when
they were hired, coming into the office for multiple
weeks to assist in in person training and she
proactively stepped up to provide continued training

Mike is an unstoppable force on our team who comes in
everyday ready to put the work in and get the job done.
His account, GFS, has grown exponentially over the last
several months and Mike has taken this challenge head
on. He stepped up to help train Operations Reps,
Schedulers and Market Specialists. At the beginning of
Q2 we were moving 11 LPD with GFS and ended Q3
moving >40 LPD, increasing our GM by 145% QoQ.
Mike is someone who truly cares about his customers
and the people he works with. He does whatever it
takes to provide exceptional customer service and
execute on every request they throw his way. He is
reliable, responsive, hardworking, and collaborative
which is evident by the close relationships he builds
with his customers. They know if they come to him, he
will get the job done.
The workday is never over at 17:00 for Mike. Over the
last several months, with GFS surging for back to
school, Mike has put in 10-hour days and is constantly
checking his emails and handling issues after hours/on
weekends to mitigate delays for the customer Mikeโ€™s
passion for his job is evident to everyone around him.

Nicole is one of those unique reps who is never
complacent & tackles challenges with a cool, collected
approach, all the while executing beautifully on our core
goals.
Once she acclimated to one of our most nuanced
enterprise accounts, Nicole learned about aspects
typically outside of her role's responsibility and
mastered them. By being an innovator and breaking the
mold, she showed us once again the potential results
that embracing change can bring. A pilot program we
ran earlier this year was encouraged by her outstanding
development and impact. Her example helped lead the
charge for us to empower our reps.
Nicole is like a chameleon for us, and it does not go
unnoticed. Her most recent accomplishment is tackling
a new frontier for us here in scheduling - working on LTL
loads. We expected massive volume from this project
and Nicole is delivering. She's learning and adapting as
her team is and will quite likely set new department
records for us.
Nicole is a prime example of the Always Forward
mindset. We knew she was capable of more and all of
our management team continues to see that confirmed
time after time. The hard work of stellar Coyotes like
Nicole is what will keep our department and the

Pat Nickerson is an outstanding example of our Always
Forward mentality. During Q3 our department had a
variety of unexpected account transitions that resulted
in challenging change management. Pat was able to
step up to the plate and took on one of our networks
most important and complex accounts by overseeing
both customer AND carrier operations and increasing his
team size by 50% overnight.
Once the move happened, he immediately set about
learning the carrier side of operations and was quickly
able to re-organize and streamline processes. As a result
of his adaptability, we have been able to pivot during
unprecedented market conditions, and both the
customer and sales leadership have repeatedly
expressed gratitude for his efforts.
Patโ€™s agility and ability to succeed didnโ€™t stop there. He
onboarded 8 new reps to his team over the past quarter,
increasing his team size by 70%, while showing a
tremendous resilience. No matter how busy, he always
makes time to talk with each rep and ensures they have
everything they need to succeed. Even more remarkably
Pat has been able to increase his teamโ€™s GM per load by
40% and doubled the overall gross margin QoQ.
Pat has gone above and beyond multiple times over the

way in stride. I am very proud of the work he is doing

Scott has embraced and championed change since he
first came to Atlanta as a Carrier Sales Manager and
even more so over the past year. Scott embraced the
changes that occurred within his own job, welcoming a
return to booking that not only his reps noticed, but also
the other ATL ESLs. He has made a habit of seamlessly
pivoting from one initiative to the next as we've
navigated the waters of a hectic 2020 and 2021 and
continues to be one of the most vocal leaders within our
office.
Scott is an animal when it comes to managing the
expectations within his role, not only in the
unquantifiable metrics like being a knowledge resource,
a coach, a problem solver, and a teacher, but also in the
quantifiable metrics, consistently hitting his KPIs on a
daily basis.
Internally, he has done a fantastic job of contributing to
building the rapport that exists on the Carrier Sales floor,
and also bridged the gap and become a great resource
for our SMB/MM customer teams when they have
questions, especially related to open deck. Externally,
Scott has spent time investing himself into his reps
Books of Business to ensure that we're maximizing

  • 1. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. We Lead. We Innovate. We Move the Worldโ€™s Freight โ€“ Forwardโ€‹ . Ara Jenkins Busola Adekunbi Cameron Stella Corey Hooker Gabby Serna Gibson Holahan Guillermo Sanmiguel James Strzalka Jonathan Arevalo Josh Ehrlich Joshua McBride Josie Amidei Laura Rogers Matthew Felde Maxwell Legierski Melissa Nicholls Mike Taylor Nicole Argudo Pat Nickerson Scott Miller
  • 2. Ara has made an incredible impact in the Software Delivery team and IT Department since the beginning of DevOps transformation for our Technology systems. During this time, we have been able to increase release capacity by more than 100% Year over Year. It is no exaggeration to say that her contributions towards Data Analytics have enabled all of Technology to function faster, enabling feedback loops, feeling confident in our strategies. It has been a phenomenal change from the anecdotal past. Beyond her analytical and problem-solving skills, Ara has shown exceptional strength of character amongst all the challenges that 2020-2021 has presented. Her positivity and flexibility have helped the team through high-stress situations, keeping calm under pressure while taking a solutions- oriented approach. She amazes us with the level of caring and commitment she shows towards IT. In a show of prominent leadership, she has mentored her team to stretch their talent, finding ways to bypass roadblocks and overcome challenges, running the show while fully remote, continuing to motivate and encourage quality output. You are a ROCK STAR in our book! CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. Ara Jenkins Nominated by: Sonali Shrivastava
  • 3. Busola is the pure definition of superstar, the team player that shines by her own talents with the support from all the team around her to make that success possible. Her constant attention to details, outside of the box thinker, quick learning and most of all, resilience to adapt to different scenarios while maintaining her empathy towards others, makes her a true team player. She works smart to expand her pipeline, having moved 64 loads with a UPS customer that has now become an active customer for Coyote with steady LTL business. Busola has managed to onboard 11 new customers and revived 12 customers that have stopped working with Coyote, moving a total of 230+ loads. Busola also managed to reactivate a customer resulting in a project in September, and the highest margin (17k) percentage of her team and one of the highest of the sales team. One of the things I admire the most about her is her kind heart, her voluntary work during weekends, her calmness approach when dealing with problems and her team mindset. Busola is constantly willing to improve and grow her accounts, her knowledge to different areas, her skills and her relationships with internal and external stakeholders. It is people like Busola that keep Coyote moving forward and it is undoubtfully our most competitive advantage. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. Busola Adekunbi Nominated by: Cecรญlia Leitรฃo
  • 4. Cam is one of our best carrier sales reps now and from what I see out of him he will become a very successful and valuable employee in the long run as well. He is trending up in all aspects of his career. He is still young but has future management potential in the next few years. Cam smashed his level 1 numbers for the last 6 months and has earned the right to level up on schedule and is doing the right things to already look forward to level 3. Cam is always taking care of his carriers and looking for new business in any way he can find it. He is first in the office to call carriers before anyone else and gets his name on the early crew books daily. Cam participates however he can to any Coyote outside activities that include St Jude golf outing. Cam always volunteers for extra weekend and Holiday shifts when the floor needs help , he is the one that responds first. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. Cameron Stella Nominated by: Bill Lerner
  • 5. Corey has spearheaded our UPS Process Improvement team for the past year. When formed, the only direction for this group was to maintain business with UPS and our relationship to carriers. Since forming this group Corey produces weekly scorecards for our top 15 carriers, holds bi-weekly zooms with the carriers to provide feedback and encouragement. Corey has created reporting around adhoc data to arm our capacity team with rates and suggestions on how to grow our adhoc acceptance and gross margins, supplying upper management with trackers for similar information. Corey has been challenged to make all his reports actionable for our teams that lead to positive change, not just reporting for the sake of it. This is where Corey has become and deserves a Q3 MVP. In Q3 of 2020 our group hit a service score of 99.41%, only 63 loads in Q3 did not hit their service delivery mark in one of the most challenging quarters we have seen in transportation. What makes this incredible is that these shipments are just in time, with no 'wiggle room' to deliver late. Q1 service was 99.05, Q2 service was 99.32 and again Q3 at 99.41. Corey's relentless approach to driver KPI improvement in 2021 is paying dividends. In addition to driving service scores, our group in Q3 achieved 166% of our margin plan. Much like service, QoQ with Corey's reporting we have grown from 136%, 154% and now 166% of plan. There is no one more deserving of representing Coyote for a Q3 MVP than Corey. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. Corey Hooker Nominated by: Quinn Ewert
  • 6. O55 would have not been successful without Gabby in Q3. Her ability to adapt to any changes thrown her is unparalleled. O55 moved departments, had 11 personnel changes, and onboarded/offboarded 4 accounts. This resulted in Gabby having to learn multiple accounts quickly to teach the new reps how to successfully operate them. Gabby helped create a daily shared sheet that gives the team visibility to what has been completed and it is an easy way to see where work can be delegated. Gabby gives 110% everyday while having a positive attitude. She lends a hand to the team operationally while also handling daily and weekly reporting including โ€˜missing accessorialsโ€™ to ensure no money is left on the table. O55 finished over 150% attainment in Q3 despite the constant change in personnel. Gabby has biweekly touchpoints with each rep on the team to ensure they feel supported. Gabby is a positive light on the team anyone can rely on, having with fun activities at the beginning of each team meeting to get to know each other and created excel competitions for the team to help with their development! Externally, Gabby leads most touchpoints with our internal sales reps and has great relationships with them. As the first escalation point for each customer and rarely needs assistance. Gabby never misses a deadline, 90% of the time items are done early. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. Gabby Serna Nominated by: Alexis Sison-Postma
  • 7. It shocks me every time I remember Gibson has been here under a year. When we are faced with a mountain of flags or send out emails with critical freight his name always pops up on my email feed replying all with coverage. Just the other week we had bounties on critical freight. He reached out to me asking permission to leave early because he had some sort of appointment that was pushed back. I jokingly replied, โ€œIf you cover 3 flags you wonโ€™t have to ask permission you will get to leave early because of the bounties.โ€ Fast forward about 25 minutes and I see Gibsonโ€™s name pop up on my email feed replying all with 3 of the bountied loads he just booked. The amount of critical freight he covers is truly shocking. His work ethic is untouched by anyone on the carrier floor. I cannot think of any carrier rep that is more deserving of MVP than Gibson. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. Gibson Holahan Nominated by: Bobby Segars
  • 8. Since Guillermo joined the floor as carrier sales rep he has stood out for his good work. In just a few months he has positioned himself as a Sr. rep, his numbers speaks for themselves and he is definitely crushing it in the conference, he ended the Q3 with 777 books and he has been carrier rep only for 4 months! I think this is something great and worth appreciating. Not only in the numbers, Guillermo is undoubtedly a fundamental piece of our team, he always has a good attitude and is willing to help the team and his teammates, always looking for the common good and always contributing ideas to improve. Everyone is happy to have Guillermo in the Mexico team! CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. Guillermo Sanmiguel Nominated by: Vaney Ocaranza de la Cruz
  • 9. Jimmy is always looking for creative ways to make the Automation Support role more efficient. Once he receives a similar ticket he instantly begins brainstorming how he can either empower users or prevent the issue from reoccurring. He also experiments on how to solve issues by building apps to automate the handling of issues; he has built apps to monitor critical executions that will retrigger apps if there is a failure, pick up files to process or reprocess and mass progress loads to name a few. Jimmy always strives to provide the best customer service to Coyotes and our Partners. Coordinating issues with internal and external partners to solve issues that arise. Coyotes have nothing but the best to say about Jimmy: "Always a pleasure working with James! our issues are resolved swiftly!" -Operations Rep "Just wanted to let you know how much James has been an asset to LTL, especially as of recent. Over the years Iโ€™ve had the opportunity to work with James in a number of capacities. You can really tell how far along heโ€™s come in the Automations realm. Iโ€™d also like to give him credit for being realistic about Automations resources and the timelines/ETAs for new requests. I could go on with more compliments that have assisted with the LTL departmentโ€™s initiatives, but I think you get the point. " - LTL Operations Rep CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. James Strzalka Nominated by: Dave Munoz
  • 10. When I think about this rep, I realized what a true Champion of Change he is. He thrives on many skills that are needed to take our business always forward. Logistics never stops and neither does he. If you ever need help during office hours and outside, heโ€™ll be there to help, assist or point you out in the right direction. Since day one, he went above and beyond asking for approval to provide his management team with MoM reporting on his accounts. On the ops side, service is a subjective component & numbers are important to show the reality of your workload, so he made sure to include: how well his accounts performed, how much money we were making, and WoW performance that allowed us to create new and better strategies on his accounts. Taking advantage of his personal skills, he has worked on building internal & external relationships that allowed him to provide the best possible service experience every day. We had a new rep join the team during Q3 and he took the lead on mentoring him and made sure our new pup felt welcomed to the team and relayed all his knowledge, experience, expertise and pro tips to set him up for success. He has never shared an excuse to not execute on extra project or the toughest ones. This rep just completed the first year working within the department and everyone can tell how talented and a true Coyote he is. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. Coyote MVPs are recognized for living out our values, embodying our high-performance culture, and guiding us towards our vision. Jonathan Arevalo Nominated by: Bacilisa Cardenas
  • 11. I truly believe Josh comes in everyday looking to learn and get better. Not only is Josh always looking for ways to do his job better, but he is sure to share knowledge and tips to ensure everyone around him gets better as well. Josh is a level 2 carrier rep and easily exceeds the required metrics. In Q3 Josh averaged 33.15 uniques/day, 12.91 offers/day, and 12.91 books/day. His load progression for Q3 was 48.44%. Just this week he set up his first TMS lane and plans to keep building that part of his business to graduate to level 3. Josh Is a wonderful team player, he recently shared with the team one of the ways he finds & develops new carriers through Carrier411. In addition to being a great teammate, he is also eager to help any new rep that joins the Atlanta carrier floor. Another ATL ESL reached out to me last month to give him a shout out stating โ€œJosh has been really helpful checking on my new rep asking her how she is doing, and if there is anything else she needs help with. I know it means a lot to her.โ€ Josh is a very personable person and builds strong, valuable relationships with all his carriers that carry beyond freight. In late August Lynn Hemmert, an owner- operator for Hummert Haulingโ€™s house burned down while he was running a flagged spotlight load for us. Lynn still made sure the load was moved without a hitch and Josh promptly reached out to me once he heard the news to see if we could raise funds to help Lynn. • 12. Josh has set a PR almost every month this past year in volume and gross margin, capping off the end of Q3 with his highest GM and volume to date. He's doubled (and nearing tripling) his book of business YoY, and shows no signs of slowing down. Consistently operating over 200+ loads each month, on his own, Josh still brings in repeated organic business and focuses on multi-mode diversification. As busy as Josh is with his book of business, he still offers mentorship to his team providing great insight in the details. Taking the few extra minutes to show vs. just telling is a testament to his leadership. At the end of the day, how Josh performs and continues to push the envelope is the definition of a "No Excuses-Mentality." With operating that much volume on his own, working weekends and countless late nights, I RARELY hear a negative comment or complaint. The best part is that I receive countless positive feedback from his customers and co-workers even in the complex situations that no one likes to deal with. Simply put, Josh gets the job done. No excuses. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. • 13. Josie has been an ops rep on the Dairy Farmers of America for a little over a year now and has already solidified herself as a top performer on the team. She is constantly praised for her efforts by CTM Leadership as well as DFA. Josie has received 4 different individual call outs from the Director of Transportation and head of Customer Service during Q3 alone. Josie single handedly managed 4 different projects for DFA during Q3 from start to finish, going above and beyond her job duties to ensure DFA was fully pleased with the outcome. Her attention to detail and professionalism make her an invaluable member of the team. I could not be more proud of the work she does day in and day out. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. • 14. Laura has adapted well to the segmentation in sales. During the transition Laura lost quite a bit of accounts with little recouped. Despite this adversity she built her remaining customers and continued to bring in new opportunities. Laura has also participated in several focus groups including the seller councils representing the MM all while maintaining her business. While the last year was difficult to meet face-to-face, Laura made it count virtually. Specifically, in the 3rd quarter she had her best months ever consecutively in August and September hitting $290,251.58 in GM and 935 VOL in September. Laura continually has one of the best relationships with our operators, taking time to educate them on her accounts and offers to help when the workload may seem overwhelming. Laura also spends a lot of time working with a few other Coyotes in our office to help organize a charity golf tournament that helps our community, raising around $24,000. Laura is committed to the mission of Coyote and the customers she serves. She does right by internal & external stakeholders and is the definition of a model Coyote. I am proud to have her as a part of our team. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. • 15. Matt Felde is the epitome of what a Carrier Rep should be at Coyote. He has been signing on an hour early and skipping on Saturday flexes since I was assigned as his manager in July. In Q3, he booked 968 loads, averaging almost 51 uniques and 7 same days! Matt also booked a combined 43 new and revived carriers; that is more than some reps book in a year. I have the utmost confidence that if Matt is working, he will put 100% effort into his day. While he is currently remote, he continues to stay involved in team conversation and day to day to updates with myself. Matt holds great relationships within the company. He is very personable and has made an impression company wide: โ€œMatt knows how this works. He definitely grinds. I like seeing his offers on my freight because I trust him and his carriers.โ€ -Peter Casinova, MPS Customer Rep โ€œFelde has a work hard, play hard mentality, which has made him one of the top tier Denver reps!โ€ -Armand Rodriguez, Chicago ESL โ€œFelde is one of the good ones. I know when he says he will do something, it is going to get done. He is a good rep and a good friend." -Joe Shocklee, Denver Customer Ops Rep CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. • 16. Max continually brings new ideas to the table on how we as a team can handle many of the issues we see daily. From CI projects to suggestions on how our team can divide up the work, Max always brings new ideas and perspectives to our team. Maxwell crushed all team metrics, going above and beyond in tendering tracking and scheduling. He leads the team across the board in all categories and attacks his responsibilities every day. Max continues to work hard at each assigned task and knock it out of the park. Max handles one of the most difficult facilities in our network with customer contacts who are not huge fans of Coyote. He continues to calmly handle and impress these planners and build our business out of their facility. He also looks after one of the largest facilities, succeeding in both quality and quantity for some of the most important shippers in our network. Maxwell acts as a reference for our newer reps. He shows the effort needed day in and day out all the while keeping a great attitude. Max loves to talk about his Buffalo Bills in downtime, but he shows the whole team when it is time to focus on the job at hand and get results quickly. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. • 17. Melissa is one of the most loyal, dedicated, and hardworking employees. She is punctual and efficient while being adaptable to a fluid environment. She is constantly suggesting new and innovative ways to increase our teamโ€™s productivity and streamline processes. As much as she as on her plate, she never shies away from assisting where she can and quality is never sacrificed. Melissa works hard to ensure that not only are met but exceeded on a daily/monthly/yearly basis. For example, one metric is meeting the goal of $60K in cost avoidance per year to save Coyote money, but Melissa easily surpasses that amount by reaching $150-$250K. Melissa has taken strides to ensure that the relationships that were developed prior to our remote work environment remain intact. For external contacts, Melissa provides stellar customer service, and implements conflict resolution tactics to escalate difficult situations. She stepped up to take point in the training and onboarding of four new reps when they were hired, coming into the office for multiple weeks to assist in in person training and she proactively stepped up to provide continued training and auditing their emails to ensure consistency and accuracy. • 18. Mike is an unstoppable force on our team who comes in everyday ready to put the work in and get the job done. His account, GFS, has grown exponentially over the last several months and Mike has taken this challenge head on. He stepped up to help train Operations Reps, Schedulers and Market Specialists. At the beginning of Q2 we were moving 11 LPD with GFS and ended Q3 moving >40 LPD, increasing our GM by 145% QoQ. Mike is someone who truly cares about his customers and the people he works with. He does whatever it takes to provide exceptional customer service and execute on every request they throw his way. He is reliable, responsive, hardworking, and collaborative which is evident by the close relationships he builds with his customers. They know if they come to him, he will get the job done. • 19. Nicole is one of those unique reps who is never complacent & tackles challenges with a cool, collected approach, all the while executing beautifully on our core goals. Once she acclimated to one of our most nuanced enterprise accounts, Nicole learned about aspects typically outside of her role's responsibility and mastered them. By being an innovator and breaking the mold, she showed us once again the potential results that embracing change can bring. A pilot program we ran earlier this year was encouraged by her outstanding development and impact. Her example helped lead the charge for us to empower our reps. Nicole is like a chameleon for us, and it does not go unnoticed. Her most recent accomplishment is tackling a new frontier for us here in scheduling - working on LTL loads. We expected massive volume from this project and Nicole is delivering. She's learning and adapting as her team is and will quite likely set new department records for us. Nicole is a prime example of the Always Forward mindset. We knew she was capable of more and all of our management team continues to see that confirmed time after time. The hard work of stellar Coyotes like Nicole is what will keep our department and the company expanding and being successful. I am truly fortunate to count her among my team! • 20. Pat Nickerson is an outstanding example of our Always Forward mentality. During Q3 our department had a variety of unexpected account transitions that resulted in challenging change management. Pat was able to step up to the plate and took on one of our networks most important and complex accounts by overseeing both customer AND carrier operations and increasing his team size by 50% overnight. Once the move happened, he immediately set about learning the carrier side of operations and was quickly able to re-organize and streamline processes. As a result of his adaptability, we have been able to pivot during unprecedented market conditions, and both the customer and sales leadership have repeatedly expressed gratitude for his efforts. Patโ€™s agility and ability to succeed didnโ€™t stop there. He onboarded 8 new reps to his team over the past quarter, increasing his team size by 70%, while showing a tremendous resilience. No matter how busy, he always makes time to talk with each rep and ensures they have everything they need to succeed. Even more remarkably Pat has been able to increase his teamโ€™s GM per load by 40% and doubled the overall gross margin QoQ. Pat has gone above and beyond multiple times over the past quarter & has taken every challenge thrown his way in stride. I am very proud of the work he is doing and the obstacles he continues to overcome. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses. • 21. Scott has embraced and championed change since he first came to Atlanta as a Carrier Sales Manager and even more so over the past year. Scott embraced the changes that occurred within his own job, welcoming a return to booking that not only his reps noticed, but also the other ATL ESLs. He has made a habit of seamlessly pivoting from one initiative to the next as we've navigated the waters of a hectic 2020 and 2021 and continues to be one of the most vocal leaders within our office. Scott is an animal when it comes to managing the expectations within his role, not only in the unquantifiable metrics like being a knowledge resource, a coach, a problem solver, and a teacher, but also in the quantifiable metrics, consistently hitting his KPIs on a daily basis. Internally, he has done a fantastic job of contributing to building the rapport that exists on the Carrier Sales floor, and also bridged the gap and become a great resource for our SMB/MM customer teams when they have questions, especially related to open deck. Externally, Scott has spent time investing himself into his reps Books of Business to ensure that we're maximizing capacity as much as we can as well as leveraging our relationships to buy as best as possible. Scott embodies the "one team" mindset, and it shows through every bit of work that he does. CONGRATS TO OUR Q3 2021 MVPs Always Forward. Be Relentless. In It Together. Make A Difference. No Excuses.
