This document provides an overview and analysis of video on demand (VOD) viewing trends. It finds that access to VOD has expanded significantly over the past decade and is now available in 60% of US households. Networks are increasingly making recently aired and full current seasons of shows available through VOD. The document analyzes VOD viewing behaviors based on demographics like age, ethnicity, and income. It finds that feature films are the most commonly viewed genre on VOD. Time-shifted viewing on VOD is also analyzed.
