The Pyramid of Khufu, or Cheops, is one of the Seven Wonders of the World located in Egypt. It is 137 meters tall with sides 230 meters long and contains an estimated 6.4 million tons of stone. According to legend, it took around 20-25 years to build using 100,000 workers who changed every three months. The architect is believed to have been Khufu himself. It contains burial chambers and an entrance on the north side, with an additional entrance added later. The pyramid is believed to have held symbolic meaning as a structure to transport the pharaoh's soul to the afterlife.
