Patent Opposition in India
Indian patent law allows two kinds of patent oppositions which include pre-grant patent opposition and post-grant patent opposition. Moreover, the recent heave in patent filings in India is attributed to the revolution in the Indian Patent System on 1st January, 2005, when India signed the Trade Related Aspects Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) agreement, wherein Section 25 of The Act was amended in light of the TRIPS agreement to introduce an “integrated” system of both pre-grant patent opposition and post-grant patent opposition in India.
Under pre-grant opposition, any person can represent for opposition, in writing, to the Indian Patent Office, against the grant of a patent after the application for a patent has been published, but a patent has not been granted. The pre-grant opposition procedure acts as a protective shield to check the validity of patent applications before a patent is granted on them. Additionally, pre-grant opposition acts as a business strategy, whereby competitors exploit it as an opportunity for opposing unjustified protective rights.
With regards to opposition after the grant, or post-grant opposition, at any time after the grant of patent but before the expiry of period of one year (12 months) from the date of publication of grant of patent, any person interested may give notice of opposition to the Patent office. This type of opposition is similar to the opposition proceedings under the European Patent Office (EPO) as the opposition is made after grant.
The grounds for both pre and post-grant opposition are identical and there is nothing to preclude a pre-grant opponent from subsequently filing a post-grant opposition. However, despite the similarities, there are also several procedural differences between the two types of opposition.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

(57) Abstract :
All contemporary methods are being thought of to be improvised with respect to green technology. Any modification in the current
system that hampers nature lesser and gives you the same benefits is welcomed. Thus the installation of tiles, if shifted to this method,
it could not only address the lack of sand which is required in installation today but it also would help you save the energy invested in
recycling the broken tiles.. Green building technology is a rapidly developing science on the basis of such eco-friendly alternatives
and are thus ought to make the world even greener and cleaner. Also today, in terms of the design, digital jet inks are being used and
the whole process of manufacturing is also fully automatic today with the help of robotics. Throughout the evolution of tile installation
psyche, longevity of tiles was the only concern. No one has really thought over the grey area where a balance could be struck between
longevity and ease in replacing. All the commercial workspaces are the primary beneficiaries of this concept. For if one showroom is
gone and a new one has to come in, almost always, he changes the whole interior along with the floor and there hed save a lot of time
if the show room has RepTiles in place. Besides this method of fixation does not require conventional material which are the basic
building blocks like cement, used for fixing the tiles

(57) Abstract :
Day by day scenario in the city is changing very fast Which leads to the rapid development towards the technological growth.Since
hands are the main interactive controls in real world, tracking gesture is very us eful for this project. There are several tools and
algorithms that can provide ability to track h and movements and detect the gestures. Accelerator/Wired gloves/fex sensor/gyroscope
or inertial tracking devices to find the position and rotation of the hands, as well as to detect finger bending, which is used to interpret
a gesture.Gestures can originate from any bodily motion or state but commonly originate from the face or hand. Current focuses in the
field include emotion recognition from the face and hand gesture recognition. Many approaches have been made using cameras and
computer vision algorithms to interpret sign language. However, the identification and recognition of posture, gait, proxemics, and
human behaviors is also the subject of gesture recognition techniques. Gesture recognition can be seen as a way for computers to
begin to understand human body language, thus building a richer bridge between machines and humans than primitive text user
interfaces or even GUIs (graphical user interfaces), which still limit the majority of input to keyboard and mouse. Taking in action all
these technological advancement this device is developed.

(57) Abstract :
The invention comprises a Tava preferably having a Reinforcing Ring at its bottom with ribs inside the ring, concentric circular
grooves on its back surface. The Outer region of the back surface has a unique Tapered structure which causes the thickness to reduce
gradually towards the outer edge. The reinforcing ring makes the Tava sturdy at its base where major transfer of is heat is done. The
concentric circular grooves on the outer surface help to accumulate as well as distribute heat at the same time. As the distance between
the grooves is close, the transmission of heat is achieved at a faster rate. The ribs inside the rings add to the sturdiness of the tava, they
also help in transfer of heat. The Reinforcing Ring, the concentric circular grooves and the tapered structure give the Tava a better
aesthetic look and a unique shape. The flat bottom of the ring helps in using the tava even for serving purpose. Due to the Ring chance
of slipping of the tava is substantially reduced thus avoiding uneven heating and spillage. Due to the concentric circular grooves the
coefficient of friction increases making it easier to handle. The reinforcing ring and the concentric circular grooves increase the
surface area that comes in direct contact with the heat. Due to this more heat is absorbed in the same amount of time causing reduction
in energy consumption.

(57) Abstract :
While giving Business Presentations or Presentations in Auditorium and Classrooms, use of VGA based Projectors are common. This
necessitates the use of a Computer or a Laptop which acts as an interface between the Presenter and the Projector. This Invention
eliminates the need for the Computer or Laptop for the purpose of presentation. In addition to eliminating Laptop, this invention also
eliminates the need for external slide switching device and laser pointer device commonly used while giving presentations in
projectors. This module include an FPGA based System connected to a Bluetooth Receiver. User is required to transfer his
PowerPoint Presentations or PDF Files or Image files into a Mobile Phone having Bluetooth. While giving presentations, the file data
is transferred into the compact portable module connected to the projector using a Java based mobile application developed
specifically for this device and the same application can be used for switching between different pages or slides in the presentation.
The application also provides the user to use the mouse pointer or the touch screen based pointer on the screen of the phone to act as a
laser pointer on the projection. The Novel approach used while designing this module is the use of Bluetooth Protocol for transferring
which has not been used as a transmitting medium in any of the projection related applications. Moreover this Invention involves a
Universal module which acts like a portable connector which can be connected to any VGA projectors; this kind of connector module
is not available at present anywhere in the market.

(57) Abstract :
The proposed innovation relates to design of thin film deposition device using Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) method. Using
this device thin film deposition is performed on substrate by successive immersion in cationic and anionic solutions respectively. This
technique is generally called as Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction (SILAR) The proposed apparatus is comprised of
mechanical setup controlled by embedded controller. Generally PVD and other CVD techniques require expensive and complex
system for thin film deposition. Our apparatus is designed cost effectively with automatic control using embedded micro controller. It
is a simple technique which doesnt require any sophisticated instruments and suitable for large area deposition. This technique is well
suitable for most of the substrates like metal, semiconductor and insulator. Even the temperature dependent substrate like polymers
can be coated in this technique by precisely maintaining the precursor temperature. Since, the film formed in this technique is due to
layer by layer adhesion of ions as well as reaction between cations and anions, the film thickness can be regulated easily by
controlling the number of dipping cycles, adjusting the pH value of the precursor, concentration, and temperature. The following are
the parameters that can be given as input to the apparatus 1. Number of beaker 2. Number of cycles 3. Speed 4. Dip time 5. Dry time

(57) Abstract :
In recent times, many rural communities have an extremely limited access to medical advice. People travel long distances to clinics or
medical facilities and there is a shortage of medical experts in most of these facilities. This results in slow service and patients end up
waiting long hours without receiving any attention. This problem can be solved by creating a system that can give advice for critical
conditions. To partially solve the rural people medical problems, we propose an expert system for residential medical diagnosis with
pattern matching and data integration technique which can play a significant role in such cases where medical services are not readily
available. The present invention aims to use task-specific knowledge and inference techniques to solve problems at the level of a
human expert. It imitates the decision making ability of a human expert in a certain domain and can also give advices and
explanations. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 shows proposed system architecture,
Figure 2 of sheet1 shows inference engine structure, Figure 3 of sheet 2 shows the developer interface structure of expert system and

(57) Abstract :
This study describes for the first time a simple and quick direct somatic embryogenesis and plant regeneration protocol for turmeric
{Curcuma longa L.) using leaf base explants. Preincubation of explants was carried out on solid MS medium containing 4.49 uM 2,4dichlorophenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D) for 20 days under continuous dark condition. Subsequently transfer of the explants for two weeks
to MS liquid medium containing 1.32 µM 6-benzyladenine (BA) under illuminated condition resulted in the highest percentage of
somatic embryo (91.1 %) induction. Matured somatic embryos germinated readily and the maximal plantlet development (87.0 %)
was achieved on 1/2-strength MS medium containing gibberellic acid (GA3) under dark condition. Histological analysis revealed that
the proembryogenic masses were initiated directly from the area near the vascular tissues of the base explants Presence of clear
protoderm and procambial strands confirmed that these structures were true somatic embryos. Those somatic embryo derived plantlets
were successfully acclimatized ex vitro and transplanted to pots.

(57) Abstract :
A method for controlling a two-bladed pitchable swept-blade wind turbine in extreme wind conditions is described wherein when
extreme conditions are detected or forecast for the wind turbine the wind turbine blades are pitched such that they will passively align
in a substantially horizontal arrangement. The blades can be yawed such that a tip of one of the wind turbine blades points into the
wind direction resulting in a reduced surface area of the blades exposed to the extreme wind forces. This reduced surface area
provides for a reduction in the extreme loads which may be experienced by the wind turbine in such extreme wind conditions.

(57) Abstract :
The present invention describes a novel process for the facile synthesis of high surface area hierarchical mesoporous silica exhibiting
tunable textural properties such as pore diameter and pore volume by varying the concentration of a cheaply available common
compound glucose which produces a high acidity bearing composite material capable of producing mesoporous silica up on simple
calcination. The novel concept of simultaneous carbonization and sulfonation of glucose adopted in the present study provides the
base for the formation of highly efficient high surface are structure-directing composite material as intermediate, where the effective
dimensions of such intermediate varied by the concentration of glucose can determine the porosity in terms of average pore diameter
and pore volume of the final mesoporous material that makes the process promising for tailoring the material properties for the
targeted material application. The novelty of the process in avoiding the use of costly templating agents and providing the simple
facile single step synthesis route attracts potential commercial applications of the catalytic processes, especially those involved with
bulky molecular transformations.

The present invention relates to the novel herbal tea formulation comprising the synergistic composition of Rhododendron arboretum
flowers powder, black pepper powder, Cinnamomum tamala leaves powder, Stevia leaves powder and Lemon grass leaves powder.
The flowers in herbal tea have anti-oxidant property that makes the tea refreshing and delicious. The herbal tea reduces stress, boosts
stamina and helps to strengthen the immunity. While Lemon grass leaves have fever-reducing effects, and give the tea a real flavor,
Stevia leaves give it a sweet taste. Black pepper increases the metabolism and helps in digestion of food. As it is rich in anti-oxidants,
it treats fatigue and tiredness. The natural red color of the Rhododendron flowers makes it more refreshing.
