1. On the cold spring evening of October 4, 1997, I Airah Jane’, took my first breath of air in
Calinog, Iloilo. The yougest daughter of Mr. Raul and Mrs. Lily Jocson.
My first experience in my life that has an impact on my personality is when I was 16 years old
my Tatay passed away because of a disease. Until now, I’m jealous seeing those kids together with their
father bonding with each other and imagining myself what would be my memories with him.
I never really thought about where my life was going. I always believe life will take me where I
wanted to go, I never thought that I was the one who took myself were I wanted to go. I am a person who
is optimistic about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see, and to experience. I like
to dream; I like to talk, I like to listen. I like to see the sunrise in the morning, I like to see the moonlight
at night; I like to look at the clouds in the sky with a blank mind, I like to sleep late, I like to get up late; I
like to explore and travel some other places; I like the land and the nature. I like people and, I like to
laugh. But those things that I like, on the other side that I’m afraid to experience maybe I’m just in a
process of building up again my self-confidence especially when I’m speaking in front of many people.
I’m not that kind of person when I was at primary and secondary level. Next at my college life, I just
remain to be a simple person and not involved on the organization/activities of the school. Also to the
people that surrounded me because I don’t want to be criticized by them.
A teacher is not what I have always wanted to be. But after I graduated with bachelor’s degree
and got my licensed I’ve finally come to a realization that being a full pledged professional teacher is not
easy but it’s a process. My mission, as an educator, is to assist pupils in developing the passion and skills
for becoming life long, 21st
century learners.
As a teacher,I would strive for a classroom that would be conducive to learning. I feelthat linear
seating allows for more structure in the classroom. However,interest should be stimulated by the display
of attractive bulletin boards that are pertinent to the material being taught. The use of supplemental
materials such as videos and computers are a must in educational programs. In today`s society everything
moves rather quickly and the future generations must be able to keep pace. The world is at our fingertips
through these devices. I believe that the type of pupils that a teacher has in his/her classroom determines
much of the teaching styles.
Earning a master’s degree it will help me to stand out from the crowd and helps me gain
specialized knowledge to advance in our field. As the workforce evolves, I am dedicated to enhance the
industry expertise and credibility. I will focus on a particular field of study, which helps me become more
competitive in the field.
As a lifelong learning- the benefits of a master’s degree holder also help me to improve
researching, writing, and analyzing skill set. As a result, I can become a better problem solver and more
easily tackle complex projects. By earning a graduate degree, continuing to expand upon the wealth of
knowledge, preparing me for a life of constants learning.
I wake up one day and ask myself who I am in this world, who will I become in the future. In this world
full of mysterious things, challenges or even our self sometimes mysterious to us.
