Project Trumpet Fish aimed to create a virtual trumpet choir using social media to connect trumpet players. The creator wrote music, uploaded it to Noteflight and posted YouTube videos to engage others. They monitored social networks and collected submitted videos and music. So far they received a helpful response from internet artist Zefrank and gained 27 Facebook likes and 212 website likes, though only 5 Twitter followers. They were pleased with international engagement but disappointed with few audio submissions. Going forward, they will be more active on social networks and post more YouTube videos to continue expanding the virtual choir.
3. About Project Trumpet Fish Inspiration from 2000 voice virtual choir. I wanted to use my music for the major task. I was hoping for famous trumpet players to join it. I wanted to investigate social media because I knew it was a good way of connecting but wanted to see how far it could really go. In the earlier time when the first fleet landed it took 6 months to get back to England to say a message to someone but now social media makes it instant.
