Mile-a-minute vine (MAM) is a highly invasive perennial plant that grows rapidly up to 6 inches per day from June to the first frost. It has triangle leaves, stem barbs, ocrea disks, and blue seeds. Current control projects work to remove MAM and need help from the public to locate and report any sightings, as it can be found in backyards. MAM produces many seeds that can germinate for up to six years, allowing it to outcompete native plants, lower property values, and require costly removal if not controlled.
