Children’s Rights
By Christopher Man
Children should not physically abused. If a person was
physically abused then lots of there opportunities can
be denied because it could lower there self esteem
and confidence to take the opportunity.
People have the right to friends and to chose them because if
they don't they can be influenced to do things that they don't
want to do. If there is and opportunity then the friend can
make you not take the opportunity.
People have the right to not be excluded because of what they look like. If a person
was excluded there opportunities could be denied for example my brother has a
friend and his dad got excepted to a famous soccer university and these other kids
came up to him and beat him up and said if you ever comeback we will beat you up
again so the bully’s actions denied his dad’s opportunity to be a soccer player. His
dad’s circumstance right now is that he is not a football player because of what
happened
Everyone has the right to a name and a ID because it is a
human right and a child right. If a person does not have an
Id or a name it can be very difficult to get a job and there
circumstance could be very bad because they will not have
enough money to pay for there food and a shelter.
What the key main
words mean to me
Rights: A right is something that everyone
is supposed to have and it improves the
quality of life.
Action:Taking action is something you do
to take an opportunity or to deny an
opportunity.
What the main words
mean to me
Opportunities: An opportunity is like a
factor that you use to create different
circumstances for yourself .
Circumstances:A circumstance is the
position you are in right now.
What The Central Idea
Means To Me
Actions can support or deny access to rights and
opportunities this statement means to me:“The different
things that you do in life can affect your future and the
consequences of yourself and other people and someones
actions can have a huge affect on one person or a
community.”
