This document discusses the difference between the present simple and present continuous tenses in English. The present simple is used to talk about habits and routines, as identified by words like often, always, and never. The present continuous is used to talk about something happening now, as identified by words like at the moment and now. Some verbs like want, like, know, and have are typically not used in the present continuous and prefer the present simple instead.
