This is a story about a good man, Dr Henry Jekyll. Dr Jekyll is a doctor, he looks after people in a poor part of
London, and a scientist. As a scientist, he is interested in experiments on changing people’s personality. The
doctor has a laboratory under his house. In the laboratory there is a chair and a desk, a shelf with books on it, a
table for experiments, a mirror and a bed. One night, everything is ready for an important experiment, but the
doctor is worried. Is this experiment a good idea or not ? It’s dangerous, but perhaps it can help a lot of people.
Dr Jekyll finishes his dinner and goes down to his laboratory. In the cupboard there is a bottle of red liquid and
some white powder. On the table there is a glass. He mixes all the powder and a half litre of liquid in the
glass. Now he is ready.Dr Jekyll drinks the liquid, and slowly his face and body change...Half an hour later, a
strange man walks from Dr Jekyll’s house into the streets of London. His hair is long and dirty, his eyes are
red and he has got long sharp teeth. He is a horrible, and dangerous monster called Mr Hyde. But where is Dr
