I don’t want to think that people hate advertisements. I contemplate, sometimes they demand more from advertisements than they can give. Yes, sometimes it looks like brands themselves are not interested in users because they continue to use clichéd schemes, not making attempts to stand out from homogeneous information noise.

Brian Teeman, co-founder of Joomla, gave a presentation about the new features of Joomla 3.2 at the Joomla!Day event in Switzerland in September 2013. Some of the new features highlighted included improved multilingual support, easier extension development, enhanced versioning, stronger security including two-factor authentication, updated templates and libraries, expanded access control for modules, improved debugging tools, and a simpler user interface. The development of Joomla was compared to the refining of chocolate from beans to final wrapped product. Attendees were invited to help test Joomla 3.2 as part of a JUX sprint.

The document discusses the basic principles of persuasive writing: ethos, pathos, and logos. It provides links to YouTube videos and instructs the reader to determine which persuasive writing techniques are used in each video by rewatching one video several times to identify examples of allusion, leading questions, and appeals to ethos, pathos, and logos.

The Seven Deadly Sins of Incentive CompensationBriscoe Pelkey
Using empirical data from 35,000 compensation plans, Xactly Corporation has identified these best practices your company should follow when designing a sales comp plan.
This document discusses the science of motivation through incentives and rewards. It argues that incentives work to motivate behavior but are underutilized. There are three main reasons why incentives are not used more: lack of visibility into their impact, misalignment between individual and company goals, and it being viewed as a business problem rather than a motivational problem. The document provides examples of how the right tools like leaderboards and mobile integration can improve sales effectiveness. It concludes with best practices around variable pay plans, quotas, and when managers should release underperforming reps or offer quota relief.
AsstrA offers livestock transportation services internationally using specialized trailers. They transport horses, pigs, cattle, sheep, goats and live fish within Europe, between Europe and Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. AsstrA aims to ensure animal safety and comfort during transport by using modern vehicles with air conditioning, watering and ventilation systems. They provide full logistics services including loading supervision and cargo monitoring.
The document discusses Spring IOC and DAO. It provides an overview of Spring framework, Inversion of Control (IOC) and Dependency Injection in Spring. It also describes how Spring supports data access with JDBC Template and DAO implementations. The JDBC Template simplifies JDBC usage and avoids common errors by providing callback interfaces for writing and reading database operations. Spring DAO classes can extend support classes to get a JDBC or Hibernate template based on the persistence mechanism.
