Stakeholder
 Young and determinate to
succeed in life, educated ,
passionate and with high
aspirations.
Problem/need:
 Roxanne needs more work
experience, and hands on
experiments as she loves
experiments.
 Roxanne needs a job that will benefit her fields of study or
interests, while she is still in school. She needs to combine
her learning experiences with real life, hands on experiences.
Insight:
Generate 50 ideas: because she needs to expand her
view first to see what options are available and then
decide
Reach out to all your phone book contacts : as
perhaps friends can help or direct you in the right
direction
Create Art with message: I personally like Art and
expressing a with through art and displaying on busy
pedestrian locations will have a positive impact on all
and might bring unexpected returns
Favorite ideas:
 Roxanne has reached out to all her phone book
contacts(67% family and 33% friends)
 She has gotten lots of promises yet no job offer
 High response rate >70% from all contacted, the 30%
either could not be reached or did not return the
phone calls
 Received lots of encouragements which makes her
feel better and more optimistic about her future
 Those who she counted most on, her friends working
in information and technology fields did not helped
much
Prototype 1
 Roxanne reached out to all her social media contacts(95%
friends and acquaintances and 5% family)
 She has got a very low response rate 41%<
 From those who responded many promised they will seek
to help her
 Those who said in the past that whenever she will need a
job to come to them, 90% did not respond while 10% said
that the are sorry but could not help for various reasons
 Again she received lots of encouragements
 She received some offers to work in Food&Beverage, for a
low wage and extended hours, an offer that cannot
benefit her work experience and she turn it down
Prototype 2
 Roxanne considered the approach is appropriate for the
purpose of getting more hands on experience, however
not enough
 It was a very revealing experiment, also made her get in
touch with people who she did not speak for a long time
 It was a very time consuming experiment
 Roxanne realized during the Prototype experiment that
many people promise and do not keep their promises
 Roxanne decided to take an entrepreneur course and start
a self sufficient business rather than work for someone
else and with the money to fund her passions for learning ,
career and social contribution
 Roxanne will apply the
prototype>test>feedback>redesign loop in her future
start-up business
