• PRE TENDER
• PRE START MEETINGS ( SITE VISITS WITH SGF/SUB CON WORKS MANAGER)
• CONFIRMATION WHO LEAD SUPERVSIOR WILL BE
• SUPPLY SENIOR CSJV SUPERVISOR WITH PROTOCOL COMPLETED
• SITE INDUCTION – ARRANGEMET FOR FLS ASSESMENT ( 7 DAYS BEFORE )
• 12 WEEKS REVIEW TO ISSUE GOLD
• 12 WEEK REVIEW OF SUPERVSIOR

Before they start
What Must we have before a supervisor starts
• Copy of the CV
• Copy of there SMSTS or SSSTS
• Copy of the letter of intent from line manager
• Line manager to score supervisor ( 1-5 )
• Job description from Parent company
• Gold or Black Card or evidence they are working towards
a NVQ within there Trade stay under a silver till
application done
Fast Track for Britain’s Future
Scoring System
October Awards
• First score Carried out by the parent company line manager
• Carry out 1-1 assessments with supervisor after site induction and issue Silver sticker
within First week
• Issue letter o f Appoitment
• Within 12 weeks , issue Gold or refer supervisor back for more mentoring
• Then review Each supervisor every 12 weeks ( can be a note , Does not need to be 1-1, or
review after site concern raised )

To include:
Why they are the right individual to:
Represent their company
Be an FLS for the contract
Demonstrate that:
The FLS’s Line Manager knows the FLS
The FLS is Suitably Qualified and Experienced
What the FLS’s Line Manager and Company will do to support them in their role
The FLS’s Line Managers assessment score of the FLS using Costain’s FLS
Assessment
Signed by the FLS’s Line Manager

protection needs to be locked away)
Send all Scores , Names Expiry day of corticated To Bryan
to update master copy at main Hub
Monthly TRM carried across all sectors ( B Williams Lead)
