El pie se puede subdividir en 3 partes: retropié, parte media y antepié. -El retropié está compuesto por el astrágalo y el calcáneo o talón. Los dos huesos largos que componen la pierna, la tibia y el peroné, se conectan con la parte superior del astrágalo para formar el tobillo. Tiene función estabilizadora. -La parte media del pie está formada por cinco huesos irregulares: cuboides, navicular, y tres huesos cuneiformes, los cuales constituyen los arcos del pie, que sirve como un amortiguador. La parte media del pie está conectada con el antepié y el retropié mediante músculos y la fascia plantar. Esta parte tiene una función rítmica ya que los huesos que la forman actúan de forma sincrónica. -El antepié se compone de los cinco metatarsianos que forman el metatarso y las falanges del pie. Al igual que los dedos de la mano, el dedo gordo tiene dos falanges (proximal y distal), mientras que el resto de los dedos tienen tres falanges. Las articulaciones entre las falanges se llaman interfalángicas y las que existen entre el metatarso y las falanges se denominan metatarsofalángicas. Su función es dinámica. La porción ósea del pie puede dividirse en tres partes: -Tarso, con 7 huesos siendo, de atrás a delante el calcáneo, el astrágalo, el escafoides, el cuboides y tres cuñas (primera o medial, segunda o intermedia y tercera o lateral) -Metatarso, con 5 huesos largos, que se disponen de dentro afuera con los nombres de primero, segundo, tercero, cuarto y quinto. -Falanges, con 14 huesos. Se conocen con los nombres de primera o proximal, segunda o media y tercera o distal o ungueal. La parte superior o dorsal del pie se llama empeine y la inferior planta. El pie se mueve en relación a la pierna con el auxilio de músculos extensores y flexores. Los primeros, que constituyen la pantorrilla, se insertan en la extremidad posterior del calcáneo por medio del tendón de Aquiles. Los segundos están situados delante de la pierna. Existen, además, músculos elevadores que hacen girar el pie hacia fuera o hacia dentro.

Wepresent Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array 12-m, 7-m, and Total Power Array observations of the FUOrionis outbursting system, covering spatial scales ranging from 160 to 25,000 au. The high-resolution interferometric data reveal an elongated 12CO(2–1) feature previously observed at lower resolution in 12CO(3–2). Kinematic modeling indicates that this feature can be interpreted as an accretion streamer feeding the binary system. The mass infall rate provided by the streamer is significantly lower than the typical stellar accretion rates (even in quiescent states), suggesting that this streamer alone is not massive enough to sustain the enhanced accretion rates characteristic of the outbursting class prototype. The observed streamer may not be directly linked to the current outburst, but rather a remnant of a previous, more massive streamer that may have contributed enough to the disk mass to render it unstable and trigger the FU Orionis outburst. The new data detect, for the first time, a vast, slow-moving carbon monoxide molecular outflow emerging from this object. To accurately assess the outflow properties (mass, momentum, and kinetic energy), we employ 13CO(2–1) data to correct for optical depth effects. The analysis indicates that the outflow corresponds to swept-up material not associated with the current outburst, similar to the slow molecular outflows observed around other FUor and Class I protostellar objects.
