This document outlines a project to develop a power temperature cycling test solution for automotive customers. The test is needed to check device reliability under full operating temperature ranges as required by automotive qualification standards. Developing this solution would help secure the company's market share as competitors do not currently offer it. The proposed approach is SMART: it specifies sample size, temperature range, cycle duration and other test parameters. It also breaks down the work among design, backend support, and reliability engineering teams. Progress will be reviewed biweekly, and the project aims to deliver first test results to the customer in 6 months through this collaborative and timely approach.
