4. PLC is an industrial computer designed for
multiple input and output arrangement.
It is a capable of storing the instruction to
implement control function such as sequencing,
timing, counting, arithmetic and etc.…

5.  PLC was introduced in late 1960’s
 First successful Programmable Logic Controllers was designed by Modicum .
 Earlier, it was a machine with thousands of electronic parts.
 Later, in 1970’s microprocessor became reality and enhanced the role of PLC.
