Rapport fra studieturen til Regionrådet i Nord-Gubrandsdalen og NettUpp
10.-14. oktober 2012 om reiselivsutvikling, næringsutvikling og merkevarbygging av regioner/destinasjoner
A practical guide to sustainable development adventures and activities - ot...NettUpp
Sustainable tourism development aims to change behaviors at three levels: sustainable destinations, enterprises, and tourists. A practical approach embraces environmental, social, and economic impacts. The first five steps are determining commitment and impacts, developing a sustainability policy, continually measuring impacts, and updating the policy. Codes of conduct provide significant guidance, like using local infrastructure and spreading financial benefits. Case studies show leading companies employing local people, limiting impacts, and supporting communities. For businesses, sustainability delivers competitive advantages like avoiding regulations and improving profitability. Lillehammer can take the lead by coordinating existing EU efforts, mobilizing stakeholders, and developing innovative sustainable products.
