This document outlines assignments for a professionalism course, including: 1) Posting responses to three discussion board prompts about faculty dress codes, teacher pet peeves, and becoming a member of the community. 2) Copying and pasting an Idaho student content standard goal and objective from the standards document. 3) Copying and pasting the knowledge items under communication skills standard 6 from the Idaho core teacher standards. 4) Describing efforts made to become an active member of the learning community at their field experience site. Students must email the completed assignments to their instructor.

1. Professionalism Assignment<br />You will probably do these various activities over a period of time. You are required to complete all activities listed below but you need not do them all at the same time. When you have completed this assignment e mail the file (as attachment) to me.<br />Discussion board postings: Reply to the 3 prompts below (a couple of sentences or maybe a couple of paragraphs). Then Copy Paste your responses onto the Discussion Board. Remember, you will answer the prompts below, copy/paste your responses to the Discussion Board. <br />General description of faculty dress code or expectations.<br />Ask you supervising teacher his/her pet peeve or most common complaint about student aids or field experience students.<br />Post a brief description of some things you have, are, or will be doing to become a member of the community.<br />You are NOT required to post the following to the Discussion Board. After you have completed the remainder of this page you will e mail the complete file to your instructor.<br />Idaho Student Content Standards.<br />Using the Standards URL’s document go to the Idaho Student Content Standards. Locate a Goal and Objectives that your supervising teacher is addressing. Copy Paste one of the Goals. Be sure to include the URL.<br />Idaho Core Teacher Standards.<br />Using the Standards URL’s document go to the Idaho core Teacher Standards.
