selected among many applicants and hired as my administrative assistant in March, 2004.
She assists with the transition of students and services from a school scheduled to close at
the end of June, to over 80 different schools assigned based on the individual needs of
students.
In the short time that Jennifer has been assigned to the project, she has been instrumental
in the organization of data into management reports that are utilized by dozens of
professional service providers. She has been able to design systems to collect and review
student information relevant to the needs of each provider.
The interpersonal skills displayed by Jennifer are extraordinary, especially considering
her youth and experience. She has responded with a mature and professional manner in
all situations including issues presented by impatient and disgruntled parents, teachers or
school administrators. As her supervisor, I received many compliments regarding
Jennifer’s ability to problem solve and assist our clients.
Jennifer brought a wide array of computer information systems skills to this job and has
been able to expand her knowledge of the district’s internal programs related to payroll,
purchase orders, budget allocation and personnel. She has also demonstrated the ability
to plan and manage a project from start to finish.
