I startedby creatingpartsof a top downmap of what an oldcitywouldkindof looklike withthe

some oddreasontheyuse more thatch roofingthanthe Romans because the Romansusedmore
tilingsoforsome odd reasontheymustdestroyedthe buildingsorsomethingandjustcouldn’tfix
thembut enoughof thatwithin the firsttwoweeksof productionIhad finishedall the layoutsfor
the top downmap andI had createda kindof speechbox withboxestoshow facesof charactersto
showwhois speakingatthat time andI had alsocreatedsome housesfromdifferenterassuchas
SaxonhousesorVictorianhouses andinthe third weekImade a start on the start screenand
decidedtocreate some partsof the towerdefence partof the game suchas the layoutandI had
alsocreatedsome of the towersandtheirattacks andI had alsocreateda pathfor the enemiesto
walkdownhoweverIdidn’thave enoughtime colourormake anyof the enemiessotheninthe last
weekIcolouredthe topdownmap and alsothe housesIhad made to indicate whichkindof erait is
and whoisin control of York at the time I hadalso startedto finishupmydesignfor the title
sequence andIalsodidsome tidyingupof the topdownmap as some of the shadingandlighting
wasn’tworkingaswell asI had hopeditwould.
The main problemsthatIhad was thatsome of my ideasrequiredmore timethanIactuallyhadto
create the piece andso I made some more basic designstowardsthe endwhichdon’treallyfitin
withthe restof the pieces.AnotherissueIhadwas that I hadonlycome up withsome ideaswhenI
got half waythroughthe productionandthe same goesfor thingsthatI actuallydidn’twantinthe
game.Afterthatmy last issue wasthingsliningupinthe top downview of York because some of the
lineswere justslightlyoff towhattheywere onthe lastone.Yet anotherissue wasthe wayinwhich
I made the top downmap whichmakesitverydifficulttoshow because Iwouldeitherhave tocome
up withsome sortof animationorjustexporteachpiece of the map individuallyandputittogether
inpost.
As forthe firstissue I askedtohave some extratime on topof the workand it still effectivelywasn’t
enoughbecause the whole entire time Iwantedtobe workingonmyprojectI wascoercedinto
workingonsomethingelse thatwasn’tasimportantbutsome people justdon’tunderstandthatand
so I wasstuck working onotherthingsratherthan my college projectIshouldhave beenworkingon.
I couldhave easilyfixedthiseitherbyignoringthose peopleandtryingtocontinue onwithmywork
or justtryingto finishupthe worktheyaskedme to do quicklysothenI couldgo aheadand just
continue onwithmywork as soonas possible.

differentmapswhichIhave to showoff as one map so I made a videotoshow all 25 differentmaps
ina rowto showoff how theywouldsticktogetherwhichdidn’treallydothe jobsothe nexttime I
try to make somethingIwill justmake one maptoeasilyshow itoff.

tool the rubbertool and the paintbrush tool I alsouseda little bit of a blurtechniquesbutIdidn’t
