Today I set up my premier pro project; I set up a standard version and a HD version. This is
where I will be editing my film once we have finished filming.
We also have scheduled a day for filming a scene from inside the house. We’ve booked all
equipment needed and decided on which scene will be filmed, we still need to make a
decision on who is going to be starring in our film but we have a few options it’s just
working out who is available.

Some of my group filmed a few scenes over the weekend; I wasn’t able to attend as I was
working. We are planning when we can next film and when we will need the equipment
again.

Put a video together on premier pro, this was to practise editing and keeping continuity

After working on planning my short film, my tutor and I have decided that I am instead
going to produce an advert for my college plant shop which is called Folly Brook. This will
include doing a 30 second advert with a number of shots and working closely with Ian
Bocock who runs the shop.

Today I went out with a stills camera and took some shots of the Folly Brook Plant Shop, I
then put the pictures I took onto a word document and completed my shot list. I decided
what and where I am going to film.

Planned days that I can go out and film, asked mark to be in one of my shots.

Today I went out and filmed some shots of inside the shop, some of the products and a shot
of the outside to show people where it is situated.

More shots filmed using different techniques.

Filmed a few shots of mark purchasing a plant from Folly Brook shop, that is in the entrance
of college.

Today I started to edit the shots I have took together, using my already set up premier pro
project.

I am still editing the shots together and making sure they all fit in together. Made sure I
needed no more shots and happy with what I already have.
13/11/2012
Completed rough edit and uploaded it to my blog and youtube. I have also emailed Ian
Bocock to find out what information he would like adding to the advert.

I have decided which font I am using for the advert, still waiting for a reply from Ian so that I
know what information he would like adding.

Received email from Ian with all information he would like me to include in the advert. I
have added said information. I have done this by creating an after effects project and
importing the text compositions from there.

I added some transitions to the text so that it isn’t just flashing on and off

Now that I have edited all shots together and added all the text needed I have added
transitions between shots, to make a smoother edit.

I have completed my final edit and uploaded it to youtube and my blog.
