Schenck in 1933. Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, also known as 20th Century Fox or simply Fox, became one of the six major American film studios and is located in Los Angeles, currently operating as a subsidiary of another company. Fox 2000 Pictures has produced numerous successful films over the decades on sizable budgets that went on to earn significant box office returns.

and Twentieth Century Pictures, founded in 1933 by Darryl F.
Zanuck and Joseph M. Schenck.
• Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation (Twentieth Century-Fox Film
Corporation, with hyphen, from 1935 to 1985)—also known as 20th
Century Fox, 20th Century Fox Pictures, or simply Fox, is one of the
six major American film studios as of 2011. Located in the Century
City area of Los Angeles, just west of Beverly Hills, the studio used to be
subsidiary of News Corporation, but now it is currently a subsidiary.
