2. Production week 1
For the first week I started drawing foundations for my
comic book and by drawing a sketch underneath helps with
drawing vector over it because then you know how to draw
it easily rather than guess and it’s less time consuming. I’m
also playing around with my script and having different
endings to see which one suits the comic. I only have the
base of the comic but I’d rather improve off of it.

4. Production week 2
For the second week I’ve decided to focus more on the
vector art because it turns out drawing the sketches
underneath the vector is more time consuming. I’m also
still playing around with my ending but I have a middle
now which is a great improvement because I felt like I
wasn’t going to come up with a good storyline that fit in
well with the comic and the character’s. And also for
some of the backgrounds I’ve decided to experiment
with different brushes so it gives the comic more texture
and something different.

5. Production week 3
Whilst I’m getting to the end of my comic I think it’ll be better if I
use more sketches as for my new panels they need more
attention to detail and anatomy so I’ll have to plan my
character’s anatomy and posing so I can get it as accurate as
possible. It will be a lot more time consuming but it will have
better looking character’s and art style. I think that the
experimenting with brushes is going well because it reminds me
of Van Gogh paintings and it gives the comic more life

7. Production week 4
I finally have an ending that fits in well with the comic and the
characters. The sketching is getting a lot more time consuming
so I’ll probably have to cut some scenes out or make the panels
have less body parts on it and maybe focus on close up head
shots. One thing I am proud of is that I finally got to make a Xavi
joke in the comic because Xavi is pronounced Chavy so most of
the time when people hear Xavi they’ll just think of Chavy. I
think time management was a big problem for me because I
kept being off task.
