Good Stuff Happens in 1:1 Meetings: Why you need them and how to do them well
Editor's Notes
Coming home to a nice plateful of cookies is best, but imagine twisting those cookies Oreo style? Sweet bliss. Not only are these chocolate sandwich cookies easy to make from scratch, but they are quick as well of an intense craving.
To commence, before anything else you will need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Ingredient-wise you will need two packages of cake mix. They can be of any flavor but the flavor that is being shown is chocolate. You will also need four eggs and one cup of shortening.
The second step, would be to blend all of the ingredients together until mixed well. You want to make sure the color of the mix is rich, and no powder from the package is visible.
Following the last step, you would need to roll the blended mix in balls about the size of a quarter each, and place the balls on an ungreased baking sheet. It would be preferred to make an even amount of balls.
Furthermore, bake them for 10 minutes. It truly depends on the oven that you are using, but to test to see if they are ready, poke a toothpick in one of the cookies and if the mix doesn’t stick to the toothpick, they are ready.
As a result of the heat from the oven, once taken out, you must let the cookies cool for about 5-6 minutes before putting frosting on them.
Finally, you spread the vanilla frosting in between two cookies and you sandwich them.
Let me conclude by saying that these chocolate sandwich cookies are the best on-the-go dessert that will satisfy any craving.
