This document discusses several problems affecting Panama based on a student investigation. It addresses issues of corruption, crime, education, garbage collection, transportation, poverty, health, addiction to social media, and pollution. Corruption exists at many levels of government. Crime rates have increased, especially for drug-related killings. The education system lacks cohesive policies and standards. Garbage collection is inconsistent and waste improperly disposed. Transportation infrastructure and planning is inadequate. Poverty persists due to unequal distribution of wealth. Health care facilities are in poor condition. Pollution is caused by improper waste disposal, vehicle emissions, deforestation, and industrial activities. Solutions proposed include improving leadership, redistributing wealth, restricting traffic and promoting clean energy.
