● Continues on the stereotype that Black
women are bitter, defenseless, and angry.
● Portrays men to always be the hero.

5. Temptation
● Uses HIV/Aids as a consequence, calls it
“sinners disease”
● States that there is a specific way to go
about marriage.
● Doesn’t look at the male character Harley,
as the one who is primarily making these
choices.
