Project Title INVESTIGATION ON THE ANTI-MICROBIAL AND ANTI
INFLAMATORY EFFECT OF CYPERUS ROTUNDUS AND
APPLICATION OF THE SAME ON TONSILLITIS.
Duration 3 Months
Description This project is an effort made to use the characteristic of
rhizomes of a herbal plant Cyperous rotundus for the treatment
of tonsillitis. The result showed that C. rotundus had an anti-
microbial and anti-inflammatory effect. This was studied by
checking the MMP levels on tonsilities. Confirmation was
obtained by docking the phytochemicals of cyperous rotundus to
MMP. Results of docking proved the strong interaction between
molecules.
M.Tech PROJECT DETAILS
Project Title SOLUBLE RECOMBINANT EXPRESSION OF IgG BINDING
PROTEINS USING CHAPERONES IN E. Coli AND ITS
APPLICATION IN PURIFICATION OF IgG
Duration 8 Months
Description Expression of Protein A and Protein G using E. coli cells
with the help of chaperones and conjugating these proteins to the
CN-Br activated sepharose column to purify monoclonal
antibody G.

 Bagged first prize in biomodel on HYDROGEN GENERATOR in National
level Symposium in CHIMERA 2011.
 Presented a poster on BIOTERRORISM and HORSE SHOE CRAB in
National level Symposium in CHIMERA 2011 held at klescet.

 Participated in national level workshop on RESEARCH AVENUES IN
