• Participated in the National Seminar on ‘PESTICIDES, FOOD SAFETY AND
ENVIRONMENT’ held at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology on
November 8, 2011.
• Presented a poster in the state level conference organized by Uttarakhand Council of
Science and Technology (UCOST) on the topic, ‘ANALYSIS OF BUATCHLOR
HERBICIDE IN TEXTURALLY DIFFERENT SOILS BY GC-ECD’ held at Graphic-era
University, Dehradun from November 21-23, 2012.
• Oral presentation in the state level conference organized by Uttarakhand Council of
Science and Technology (UCOST) on the topic, ‘PREPARATION OF NANOPARTICLES
USING NANO POWDER SYNTHESISER (NPS-10)’ held at Doon University, Dehradun
from December 26-28, 2013.
PROJECTS/ RESEARCH:
Thesis research: “Adsorption- Desorption study of herbicide Butachlor on soils” and
analyzing samples using GC-ECD. The research included residue analysis of the herbicide on
different soil samples using two different amendments.
CSIR-CBRI Project: “Performance enhancement of cementatious and polymeric materials
through nanotechnology”.
Role: This project includes the synthesis of nanoparticles of different nano range using Nano
Powder Synthesizer (NPS-10; Tethis, Italy) and their application in building materials.

2. Co-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
•Obtained first position for various art, dance & singing competitions at school, state and
national level.
•Represented and organised various cultural activities, seminars at college and university level.
•Participated in various educational campaigns in remote places successively for 2 years in NSS
with C certificate.
•Participated and represented college in seminar held at IIT, Roorkee on Science day.
