This individual research proposal examines whether people prefer a mate based on physical looks or attitude. The hypothesis is that most people prefer a better-looking mate physically over one with a nice attitude but without physical attractiveness. A quantitative research method will be used where participants fill out a questionnaire or get interviewed. Their responses will be collected and organized to classify answers and count preferences for physical looks versus attitude. The study will follow standard research procedures including creating a hypothesis, designing questions, identifying variables, selecting participants, collecting and organizing data, and writing a report while ensuring ethical considerations are followed.
This document provides an outline for a report on representing a future city. It begins with an introduction describing the mayor's responsibility to solve problems facing the city of "X" and plan for its citizens' future needs. It then reviews definitions of a city and its key elements. Several past and present cities are investigated, focusing on their water systems, geometric shapes, and energy sources. This information is considered for application to the new planned city. The document proposes that the mayor will name the rebuilt city the "Half-Sphere City" as it will be enclosed in a large glass shield for protection from climate disasters.
This document contains 3 journal entries written by a student for a psychology class. In the first entry, the student discusses learning about self-concept and realizing they know themselves better after reflecting on how others see them. The second entry describes learning about the psychology of color and visual perception. The third entry covers learning about attitude formation and the three theories of attitude change: evaluative conditioning, operant conditioning, and observational learning. The student expresses a preference for operant conditioning using rewards over punishment.
This survey aims to examine the psychological factors people consider when choosing a mate. It asks respondents to answer questions about their relationship status, important selection factors like kindness and intelligence, acceptable age differences, views on long distance and interracial dating, family history considerations, and opinions on online, speed, and blind dating. Respondents are assured confidentiality and encouraged to answer candidly.
1) The study examined factors that influence mate selection among 100 participants. Kindness was the most important factor, followed by intelligence and physical appearance.
2) Most participants found an age difference of 1-5 years acceptable. Over half were open to long-distance relationships and interracial dating. Bad family background was a dealbreaker for most.
3) Opinions on online dating, speed dating and blind dating were mixed, with fewer participants willing to use these methods themselves compared to viewing them as viable options in general. Characteristics like kindness were seen as more important than wealth.
This document summarizes a site analysis project for a group called MVRDV. It lists the group members and their roles in analyzing different aspects of the site, including location, context, size, zoning, natural and man-made features, circulation, utilities, sensory perception, human activity, and climate. It also includes a SWOT analysis of the site outlining strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Progress reports from two locations surveying people to see if they notice an object are also summarized. Examples of case studies and initial ideas for redesigning a toy box are presented at the end.

It analyzes factors like Su-Garden's building orientation, structure, materials, and vegetation that influence its passive cooling performance.
Air Forest is a temporary pavilion installed in City Park, Denver, Colorado for an arts event. It is made of nylon fabric attached to 35 columns, 14 of which contain blowers to pump air into the structure. Air pressure from within holds up the pavilion, acting as a barometer that sways more in lower pressure. A gradient of silver dots on the nylon mimic the environment and provide shadows. The student made a scale model but had difficulties and changed methods, finalizing with details like air holes and venting.

The management building is mainly constructed of reinforced concrete, which has high strength and can withstand heat. Tempered glass is used for the facade, as it is stronger than normal glass and will not shatter into sharp pieces if broken. Aluminum supports the glass and makes up the facade, and is resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel is used for the staircase handles due to its strength, heat resistance, and resistance to corrosion and staining. The roof is made of polycarbonate, which is strong, tough, and impact-resistant. Pebble stone and concrete bricks make up unique flooring systems. Fabric structures provide shade and

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

In an education system, it is understood that assessment is only for the students, but on the other hand, the Assessment of teachers is also an important aspect of the education system that ensures teachers are providing high-quality instruction to students. The assessment process can be used to provide feedback and support for professional development, to inform decisions about teacher retention or promotion, or to evaluate teacher effectiveness for accountability purposes.
