 An entrepreneur and recruiting consultant, Scott Robarge works with 
companies in the Bay Area. In addition to running his recruiting business 
Another8, Scott Robarge is also actively involved with charitable 
organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association.
San Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer’s 
 Founded in 1980, the Alzheimer’s Association advocates research initiatives 
aimed at discovering cures and prevention techniques for the 6th leading 
cause of death in the United States. A worldwide group, the association 
serves Alzheimer’s-diagnosed individuals as well as those suffering from 
dementia. With more than 4,500 support groups and 20,000 education 
programs, the Alzheimer’s Association sponsors initiatives that are made 
possible by tax-deductible contributions from its donors and sponsors.

 Among its leading fundraising activities is the group's annual Walk to End 
Alzheimer’s. Hosted in more than 650 locations, the walk is vital for ongoing 
research and to support individuals affected by the disease. The event also 
serves as a platform to raise awareness about brain health. The San 
Francisco Walk to End Alzheimer’s is slated for September 20, 2014, at 
Mission Creek Park. The three-mile walk commences at 10 a.m. and 
welcomes strollers and dogs.
