1. Search for people all over 
the world 
2. Real time information on 
friends and family activitie 
3. Share interests, photos,

1. Creating, sharing, and 
collaboratively working on 
documents is a definite 
pro to this technology. 
2. The ability to set individual 
permissions for persons to 
access or edit 
documents. 
3. Working on documents 
with co-workers are in 
different locations, 
showing revision notes.
RSS (Really 
Simple 
Syndication) 
1. Finding feeds on my 
favorite topics was vary 
easy, along with simplicity 
when subscribing 
2. Access to constantly 
updated data, with 
notifications when 
updates are done. 
3. Available on mobiles
You Tube 
1. No matter the topic, you 
can find step by step 
video instructions to do 
anything. 
2. Old TV programs, such as 
Midnight Special and The 
Carol Burnette show can 
be viewed. 
3. You can never watch too 
many funny cat videos.
Blogging 
1. I do not see the point in 
writing about every 
mundane thing in one’s 
life. 
2. Searching for topics of 
interest for me was too 
broad. 
3. Blogging contains 
thoughts and opinions, 
not facts.
Wiki 
1. I have not found a reason 
to use Wiki outside of 
classes. 
2. The collaboration process 
was not very easy to use. 
Google Docs was simpler. 
3. Wiki is very much like a 
blog, based on opinion 
and not fact.
Twitter 
1. Again, people posting 
everyday, mundane 
posts. 
2. Like Facebook, anyone 
can create Twitter 
accounts and say they 
are someone they are 
not. Happens to 
celebrities. 
3. The original idea of the 
creator was good. 
Communicating in the 
office.
Delicious 
1. I don’t see the need for 
this unless you are one 
who lives on the 
computer. 
2. This can be done on 
pretty much any browser. 
3. I had trouble searching on 
this site. Again, too 
broad.
Diggnation 
1. This site was difficult to 
navigate. 
2. I would rather read 
information than hear it. 
3. Difficult to locate what 
you are interested in.
