2. AllTop
• I like the way you can personalize the page to just items that interest
me.
• It is constantly updating.
• I can see what topics are the most popular.

3. Reuters
• I can see the top stories from all over the world.
• It has video streaming for news.
• It is more news than entertainment.

4. Google Translate
• I can tell what my friends on Facebook are saying when they write in
their native language.
• You can type what you want to say in English, then translate, and post
on social media if you want.
• I can see Web sites that are foreign in English.

5. Bing
• I liked that all the images and stories are on one page.
• I will use this for videos because I like to hear the narrator before I
select the video.
• The use of suggestions on Bing is awesome!

6. Newseum
• I used to have to go to all the different sites to get the news and with
Newseum I can click once on the map.
• I would use this to go more in depth to news stories I see on other
sites.
• They have a “plan a field trip” that I can use with my scouts.

7. Blogger
• I like the idea of Blogger but for me it takes up too much time.
• If I had a blog I would feel bad if I didn’t keep it up to date.
• My life changes too quickly for Blogger.

8. Twitter
• Another time issue for me; one social media is enough and I use
Facebook.
• I understand the concept but I do not want to be limited to what I
have to say.
• My 15 year old daughter tells me I’m too old for Twitter anyway!

9. Wikipedia
• With anyone supplying content, you cannot be sure the information is
accurate.
• I hate that when I search, this is the site that always comes up first!
• I like that in schools they cannot use this site as a reference.

10. Sumopaint
• I don’t think I have enough knowledge to use this site; it seems very
technical.
• There are easier ways for me to edit images.
• It did not interest me.

11. Delicious
• I already use a bookmarking feature so this did not appeal to me.
• I do not use the Internet enough to have different folders to store
bookmarks.
• I would not take the time to use all the features like tagging.
