2. WHAT IS ATYCHIPHOBIA?
• The fear of failure, fear of failing, a falling fear or anything that has
to do with “presumed” idea of being fearful of being unsuccessful
• Everybody has been feared of failing
 Grades, jobs, relationships, sports, society etc.

3. CAUSES
• Rooted in their childhood or adolescence (psychoanalytic)
something traumatized the person
• Parents placed an unreachable standard for their child
• Embarrassed and humiliated in their childhood (learning)
• Irregularities in the brain functions and flawed thinking
(biological)
• Seeing another person failing at something (humanistic)

4. SYMPTOMS
• Headache
• Muscle ache and tension
• Hot flashes and sweating
• Clammy hands
• Anxious
• Shortness of breath
• Speedy breathing
• Irregular heartbeat
• Nausea
• Overall feelings of dread
