This document explores cultural entrepreneurship through perspectives from cultural studies, cultural policy studies, and entrepreneurship. It examines the lived experiences of cultural entrepreneurs using narratives and storytelling to understand how culture shapes and is shaped by everyday practices. Key debates discussed include the notions of self-exploitation and precarious work among cultural entrepreneurs as well as the role of personal agency, identity construction, community and networks for cultural entrepreneurs.
