2. Firstly I started looking at a number of film openings that are similar to ours so i can start
making our film opening. these give our film meaning and can connect to similar
audience. The genre of our film is thriller but it is linked to urban drama and social
realism.
The film also is linked to crime because josh gets stabbed by and the killer (cyrus) gets
away but josh was in trouble with cyrus before, thet was why he noticed him straight
away when he shouted "oi" but josh did not know the quickest way of getting out
because he didnt live there, he's girlfriend did. but we did not begin the film with that
scene, we were going to include the scene at the middle of the film. we started it that
way so the audience could think that josh was a normal guy

3. In my film opening women are portrayed as weak because josh’s girlfriend
was crying because of the deth of her boyfriend and his best friend (Bryan)
had to come and confort by walking her home and offering to come in with
her because she said that it was really hard to live without him
