I’d like to thank Ryerson for inviting myself and my colleagues for the opportunity to speak to you about Caesars Entertainment Corporation and the exciting and growing Entertainment/Tourism and Hospitality industry we operate in. I remember being in your shoes (many years ago) as I was completing my business degree and weighing my future career options. At the time, the gaming/entertainment industry wasn’t what it is today and was never on my career radar. But as we all know, the industry has grown and expanded to become more than table games, slot machines and all-you-can eat buffets along the Vegas strip or Atlantic City boardwalk. Caesars Entertainment and it’s portfolio of winning brands, many you are surely familiar with, is a true reflection of what Gaming Entertainment has transformed into - A dynamic, thrilling industry that offers a wide variety of career options for innovative thinkers across many courses of study that you may not realize.

I was proud to be part of the the opening team in 1994, welcoming the first commercial casino in Ontario. Since that time I have seen our company grow from an interim casino retrofit in a former art gallery to what it is today. Anecdote about using boxes as desks, etc.
