15. The sawmill is centrally located and providing good quality sawn
timber to the consumers with reasonable price.
Limited financial and human resources and outdated technology
has made the saw mill suffer.
Good behavior with consumer, consumer publicity and dynamic
products are the opportunities they have utilized.
Indian home service wood workers, new wood substitute, timber
obtaining process has challenged and threatened the saw mill.
The greatest fear of the sawmill is the probable repeat of load
shedding.

16. Government should give priority to utilize
underused hill forest (dead, dying and fallen logs)
for sustainable supply of timber resources.
The saw mills are unsatisfied and bothered with the
present procedures and policy of obtaining the
timber. So, more easy and systematic steps and
guidelines must be developed.
