2. CONCEPT OF HOUSE SYSTEM
The concept of the house system is an integral part of every school aiming
at holistic development of students.
It forms the basis of all competitions in the school.
It promotes team spirit, group loyalty, healthy competition and adherence to
school values and rules.
The House system plays a pivotal role in the conduct of cultural and co –
curricular activities in the school.
The school has 4 houses. It also develops healthy competition amongst the
students and paves a path for leadership.
The success of the house system is attained by the active participation of the
students in daily activities of the school. Inter–house activities and
competitions provide students with ample opportunities to develop their
capabilities in various fields.
3. HOUSES OF OUR SCHOOL
To inculcate confidence, positive attitude and competitive spirits amongst
children and nurture their hidden talents, our school has been divided into
four houses:
4. Each house has one house master from both senior
and junior wings.
Each house should have one Hindi teacher, one
English teacher, one Mathematics teacher, one
Science teacher and one S.S.T teacher and one PET
teacher. Every house member have to perform their
duty wholeheartedly.
5. ALLOTMENT OF HOUSE TO THE
STUDENTS
Class teachers divide the students of their class in such a
way that the boy-girl ratio and talent balance is maintained
in each house.
Newly admitted students of each class are placed in that
house, Where the numbers are less.
6. HOUSE DUTIES
As a general routine of the school curriculum, house duties are mainly
divided into 3 parts:
ASSEMBLY DUTY
DISCIPLINE DUTY
CLEANLINESS DUTY
Furthermore, each House performs various duties as per the CCA calendar
such as organizing various competitions and programs of sports, music, arts,
yoga, etc. to ensure the overall development of the students..
7. ASSEMBLY DUTY
Morning Assembly is the time when the entire school
community assembles at an appropriate place to affirm
school’s identity and aspirations. It is the best forum to inspire
and motivate students. It serves as a platform to develop self
confidence, acquiring knowledge and information, creativity
and a esthetic sense among students.
The teachers of the house on assembly duty will ensure the
smooth conduct of the morning assembly, they will prepare
students for prayer, news, thoughts of the day, the national
anthem, Aps song etc.
8. DISCIPLINE DUTY
Discipline is a crucial element in keeping children in schools safe and on track.
Effective school management techniques aid in the decision-making and academic
attention of students. Students need to be disciplined to make significant academic
progress.
House teachers on discipline duty ensure the safe arrival and dispersal of students
and ensure discipline during recess.
House on discipline duty will ensure that all prefects of their house are on duty
during assembly, recess, and dispersal. Duty charts must be displayed at the
display board and the execution of the duties must be confirmed.
9. CLEANLINESS DUTY
House teachers on cleaning duty will have to ensure the
cleanliness of the school premises, toilets and assembly
grounds with the help of Adm. staff
10. DUTIES OF HOUSE MASTERS
The house in charge prepares guidelines for students to
participate in various co-curricular activities as per the CCA
calendar.
Preparing MOD, assembly, discipline, and dispersal duty roster
and ensure smooth execution of duties.
Maintaining proper records of the house activities,
achievements and allotment of duties, so that a house report
can be can be complied by the end of CCA calendar &
published in the school magazine.
11. DUTIES OF MEMBER TEACHERS
To support and help wholeheartedly in the execution of duties
assigned by house master.
To motivate and prepare students to participate in various
inter-house activities.
