2. The students, staff, and faculty of Tarrant County College would
benefit if there was a intercampus transportation system in place.
Having to deal with less traffic, having time to study while in
transit between campuses, less pollution, and saving wear and
tear and gas is a few of the benefits that students would receive.
Introduction
3. We had four research methods:
• Conducted a survey to faculty, staff, and students
• Determined what an effective intercampus transportation
system would be
• Determined the cost to Tarrant County College
• Determined a means for funding an intercampus
transportation system
ResearchMethods
4. According to the survey that we conducted from March 26, 2015
to April 3, 2015, we obtained 37 respondents.
Surveys
5. Of the 37 respondents, 21 stated that they would utilize the inter-campus
transportation system.
Of the 37 respondents, 20 stated that they live closer to a different TCC
campus than the one that they drive to.
Of the 37 respondents, 22 stated that they have attending more than one
campus during a single semester.
Of the 37 respondents, 23 stated that they have been affected
by not having an intercampus transportation system.
Results
6. Due to the low number of respondents, we have decided to
continue the endeavour until we have reached about 5,000
respondents saying that they would utilize the intercampus
transportation system.
Conclusion
7. Due to the low number of respondents, we recommended that
Tarrant County College does not pursue an intercampus
transportation system at this time.

9. With the interview with Ray Allison - Contact Administration,
we came to understand that there is a particular number of
students that would utilize the intercampus transportation system.
We are going to need approximately 5,000 respondents.
Interviews
10. • Not to be in a hurry when trying to come up with a survey.
• Not to rely on a group to perform a project within a
designated time frame.
What we learned
11. ● The time restraint of a single semester to obtain
approximately 5,000 survey respondents. We didn’t obtain it,
but we are still going to be shooting for the goal through the
next semesters.
● We had less group members than other groups. This caused
us to have to do more work which affected the research.
Challenges and solutions
12. We have learned how to work as a small group and deal with
group members that like to wait until the last minute to do
things.
