A businessman left his career in 2008 to work as a social worker. Over the next six years, from 2008 to 2014, he worked to help citizens file public interest litigation petitions in superior courts to seek judgments and relief on issues related to human rights, right to information, right to service, women and child welfare, consumer disputes, environmental protection, and other matters. He assisted with cases in local courts, High Courts of states, and the Supreme Court of India.
