This document outlines a free guide for Donetsk that aims to help tourists and volunteers find places to visit, eat, and drink in the city. The project will research cafes, restaurants, and historical sites in Donetsk, take photos, and publish an online and printed guide free of charge. The goals are to create a free information source, help future volunteers, discover new places in Donetsk, and raise awareness of the city. Attention will be drawn to the guide through a blog, word of mouth, and social media from June to October 2013.

2. What are the problems?
• The tourists and volunteers have some
problems when they first come to Donetsk. It
is really hard to find places to visit, drink or
eat something.

3. Why are we doing this?
• The project is to have little trips to
cafes, restaurants, important and historical
places in Donetsk, to take some photos and to
research about these places. We want to
prepare an interesting source for people who
come to Donetsk and it will completely be
free. Also, it will be an online source which will
be published on a blog and maybe it will have
some hard copies which will be prepared for
libraries.

4. Goals
• To create a completely free touristic
information source.
• To help future volunteers.
• To discover new places in Donetsk.
• To raise awareness about the interesting sides
of Donetsk to people who have never been in
Donetsk.

5. How will we draw attention?
• By creating a blog.
• By «word of mouth» method.
• By social media (our Facebook and Twitter
accounts)
