1. Presentació del producte:

El meu producte WalkingGPS és un navegador individual per a
caminar per la ciutat, sobretot quan anem de viatge, ja que ens
mostra via satèl·lit un mapa a la pantalla i ens diu on som, ens
mostra els carrers però també les botigues més properes, així com
tots els llocs propers que tenim per dinar, fer un cafè o una copa o
quins museus o monuments podem visitar, indicant-nos sempre la
ruta més ràpida per arribar-hi.
Si el nostre destí es troba lluny de la nostra posició actual, el
Walking GPS també ens indica com anar-hi i quin autobús, tren o
metro hem d’agafar, a on i quin és el recorregut que hem de fer.
2. Naming:
Walking GPS és un nom que prové de l’anglès, ja que
Walking ve de “walk” (caminar) igual que les sigles GPS
(Global Positioning System o Sistema de posició).

Per què “Walking”?

Aquest navegador (o GPS) és principalment per a
caminar, d’aquí el nom.


Per què en anglès?

Walk és un verb en anglès que tota persona amb
mínims coneixements sobre aquest idioma sap.
El Walking GPS és un producte internacional.
