Many ancient and modern superstitions are discussed in the document. It is commonly believed that certain events or objects can bring bad or good luck. Some ancient peoples thought that specific natural phenomena had supernatural causes. Even today, some hold superstitious beliefs handed down over many years. The document examines both unlucky and lucky superstitions around the world.
Environmental campaing at casd
Maria Laura, Mayra, and Brenda led an environmental campaign at the "Simón Bolívar" school in Valledupar, Colombia where they talked to 6th grade students about environmental issues during break time. The campaign aimed to raise awareness of environmental problems and encourage discussions among the students about possible solutions. It was coordinated by teacher Esther Gonzalez Pabon and involved presentations to the students by Maria Laura, Mayra, Brenda and 12 other participants.

Esta propuesta fue presentada para implementar la modalidad de inglés en la Institución Educativa CASD Simón Bolívar de Valledupar por un equipo de docentes y directivos ante la Secretaria de Educación Municipal. Nuestra institución se convirtió en pionera en bilingüismo en la ciudad dentro de las instituciones oficiales al ser la primera en poner en práctica este tipo de iniciativa. En el presente llevamos varios años y hemos mejorado en muchos aspectos aquí planteados.
