In, you must complete all the problems on the
slides on a separate sheet of paper and turn them
into me. The retakes will be offered next Monday
and Tuesday: before or after school.

5. 17) A card is chosen at random from a deck
of 52 playing cards. Without replacing it, a
second card is drawn. What is the

6. 18) In a shipment of 20 computers, 3 are
defective. 3 computers are randomly
selected and tested. What is the probability
that all 3 are defective if the first two are not
replaced after being tested? Give your
answer as a fraction.
7. 19) A box contains 3 white crayons and 4
black crayons. What is the probability of
drawing 2 black and 1 white crayon without
replacement? Give your answer as a
fraction.
8. Cards that are numbered 1-9 are placed in a
bag. 1 card is pulled out, replaced and then
a 2nd card is pulled out. Find the following
