This document summarizes a study on different energy sources used in total laparoscopic hysterectomy. It discusses how monopolar electrosurgery, bipolar electrosurgery, advanced bipolar devices, ultrasonic energy and lasers are commonly used for hemostasis during laparoscopic hysterectomy procedures. The study aims to compare the blood loss, operating time, recovery time and post-operative complications associated with different energy sources. It hopes to determine the advantages and disadvantages of each energy source in both the intra-operative and post-operative periods in order to help surgeons select the most appropriate option.
