This document introduces a student project to design a home appliance control system using Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) technology. The system would allow wireless control of home appliances via mobile phone keys corresponding to different devices. When a key is pressed, an encoder would send the user's choice via GSM to a receiver, which would decode the DTMF signal and trigger the appliance selected by the user. The goal of the project is to gain practical engineering skills and knowledge to increase productivity and efficiency in industries.
