The study found those who slept less than 6 hours per night were more likely to exhibit Type A personality behaviors like impatience and hostility. They were also more prone to risky behaviors like bragging and one-upmanship. The researchers concluded sleep deprivation can cause people to act in short-sighted ways and take on water like the Titanic, referring to the sunk ship, or face bankruptcy like Lehman Brothers.
